"I'm not dead, I'm just hibernating on the cold thick snow of the Crown Tundra, where Calyrex bestowed his Grand Library upon me."

3rd Person's POV

The battlefield was filled with an intense aura, other pokemon stopped their battle to gaze at the somewhat unfamiliar pokemon being summoned.

The Galarian Zapdos stood magnificently on the battlefield, it's feet made of steel suitable for fighting, it's red and orange body blended well.

Galarian Zapdos screeched, it was a defeaning loud voice, it made the entire battlefield shudder.

Ash was slightly taken aback, he didn't expected seeing a Galarian legendary pokemon in Kalos, but, regardless about that, he smirked.

"Interesting, you managed to catch him." Ash commented.

"No, actually, I... I really can't explain this, but, this is just temporary." Clemont said, unsure.

"What?" Ash asked in surprise.

"But one thing's for sure, it has something to do with this battle today." Clemont said.

Flashback...

Clemont walked on the streets of Lumiose, on Lumiose nights, together with his sister, Bonnie.

There wasn't any people around and so they decided to stroll.

It was once a peaceful walk but suddenly a streak of light passed through them, it was quite large. They got curious and quickly followed the trail until they arrived at the forest just beside Lumiouse.

"Brother, I'm scared." Bonnie said in a stuttered voice.

"Don't worry, we're just checking things out, let's get out of here once we're done." Clemont said and they went furthee into the forest.

After some short walks, they stopped on a wide clearing in the middle of the forest and what they saw made their eyes widen.

"Th-That's a Zapdos!" Clemont quickly shouted, his love for electric types have spiked up.

But with further observations, he noticed some features that might differ from the usual Zapdos they know.

"That's not a normal Zapdos, brother." Bonnie reminded her brother.

"I know, it may be one forms I studied from Galar, I think we may have found ourselves a Galarian Zapdos." Clemont narrated.

"But what is it doing here?" Bonnie asked.

"Only one way to find out."

With that, they approached the Galarian bird with caution, but to their surprise, it didn't even move an inch.

"Come." Zapdos said in low, deep but dominant voice.

"It...you...talked..." Clemont was almost speechless as it suddenly talked through telepathy.

"It's been a long time since I battled someone as powerful as me." Galarian Zapdos stated while it's eyes are closed.

"Wh-What are you talking about, we can't batt---"

"Didn't mean to battle you, but I sensed someone around here in this place with radiating energy." Zapdos interrupted.

"Who?" Clemont asked.

"'Tis remained unidentified, but my intel stated there's a tournament being held here." Zapdos said.

"It has an intel?!" Clemont screamed on his thoughts.

"W-Well yes, there's a tournament being held here." Clemont replied.

"If my calculations are right, I can battle him there, you." Zapdos said in dominance.

"Y-Yes?"

"Capture me, and use me on that tournament, tomorrow." Zapdos declared.

The place was quiet for a second, and then...

"Whaaaat?!"

But little did they know, Shauna had seen the scenario, she left without notice.

Flashback ends...

"That's why I have a hunch that Zapdos' talking about you, because I just felt like it." Clemont explained.

Ash stared at the Zapdos, and so does Zapdos, glaring at Ash like there'll be one hell of a battle.

"Bring it on, Zapdos." Ash smirked. Absol had it's stance ready.

"Absol, Dark Pulse!" Ash commanded.

Absol launched a powerful Dark Pulse and managed to hit Galarian Zapdos, but after the smoke have dissipated, Galarian Zapdos spread it's wings to show dominance and just stood there without getting a single scratch.

"That's a high leveled one." Ash murmured.

"Zapdos, let's do it, Thundurous Kick!" Clemont commanded.

Zapdos screeched and did electrical energy charging, before darting skywards and then was about to kick Absol with it's sharp claws.

"Absol, use Shadow Ball to dodge!" Ash quickly ordered.

Absol fired a Shadow Ball just below him to gain momentum for dodging, it managed to dodge but Zapdos still charged towards Absol and landed a single but powerful kick. Absol was thrown away from the battlefield.

"Absol!" Ash ran towards his fainted pokemon and returned it back to it's pokeball.

"He's strong..." Ash muttered and clenched his fist in annoyance.

He's clearly not expecting a legendary pokemon from Galar, yet they've been warned by Shauna.

He sighed and was about to pick up another pokeball but suddenly something seems off. The clouds went dull and blue thunderstrucks seems everywhere. The whole stadium went panicked mode, but to Ash, it's seems pretty normal yet mysterious.

Galarian Zapdos' reaction wasn't really normal to, but instead, it became determined and excited due to him sensing familiar aura somewhere in Lumiose drawing closer in a fast pace.

"I see you also have an acquaintance." Zapdos chatted through telepathy.

"What?" Ash was completely blank about what's going to happen, he's wondering about his meaning about 'his acquaintance.'

Then, of nowhere, a blindiny light struck on the battlefield, just few meters towards Ash's place, the smoke died out and an unfamiliar humanoid figure stood on it.

"Wh-What is that?!" Clemont asked loudly.

The whole situation on this battle seems so complex that even Koharu and the others have literally no idea about what's going on right now, Ash's been holding up.

So does the whole battlefield, the audience, Diantha, Professor Sycamore, was completely dumbstrucked about these whole legendary appearances.

Yes, the one who just arrived on the battlefield was no other than Zeraora, the thunderclap pokemon, glaring on the other side, where Galarian Zapdos is situated.

"We meet again, Zapdos." Zeraora said in a low but somewhat feline voice.

"Likewise, Zeraora." Zapdos replied.

"Wh-What is happening Ash." Koharu said as she reached on him.

"Even I am completely lost. What's a Zeraora doing here?" Ash asked towards particularly no one.

"Greetings Ash, my link, I'll be the one to handle him for the rest of this battle." He stated.

The whole battle's been recorded live and exclusive, somewhere on the parts of Kanto, a certain girl smirked at the TV, excited on meeting the trainer who unintendedly summoned a powerful legendary electric type pokemon.
