My mind was foggy as soon as i stepped inside my empty home beer bottles from the night before lay lifeless on the floor as i stepped over them and made my way to my lifeless bedroom peeling back the rug and grabbing the last pre rolls i had left before lighting one ans taking a deep exhale

Weed took the edge off but it wasnt strong enough to contain the beast that was the junkie inside of me. Maybe the rent a cop was right? All i am is a filthy junkie. I sighed before making my way to the frige and grabbing a new beer mom hadnt been home for the past two weeks that ive been out of rehab.. she probably wouldnt care if i overdosed again. I laughed a little at the thought and opened the beer taking a large gulp and flopping down on the sofa.

The tv played random music videos on mtv for hours as i got more and more faded the cravings just got worse i wanted to feel something.. anything but i dont want to go back to that awful place so i did the next best thing.

As i waited for him to pick up i puffed on the second joint listening to the dial tones "hello?" Rays tired voice rang through the phone "its bunny" i said quietly i could practically see the boy smiling through the phone "yo whats up?" He asked quietly "i uhh got bad thoughts so i decided to call since ion wanna do that shit no more" i mumbled playing with the wire from the phone "oh uhhh its good you called that shit aint good for you" i could hear the bed shifting as he sat up "yeah i just.. it feels like its eatibg away at me right? Like it wants something" i nervously bit my lips chewing at the skin "yeah yeah just keep doing what your doing your a stong ass woman you know? You almost died and here you are. Still kickin it with us" he laughed a little causing me to smile "thank you.. ray." She craved the dark skinned boy his lips on hers would satistfy the beast. "I uhh ill let you sleep? You sound tired" i smiled as ray continued "all right gnight bunny.. you stay safe" the boy had hung up leaving her alone yet happier than before.

Skipping over to the sofa and the open beers she had she chugged the rest and dizzily danced along to the songs she couldnt remeber getting drunker and fading away by the minute as the night grew she passed out on the black leather seat with a small smile on her face
