Rays pov.

Bunny smashed her head when we crashed and all i felt was regret. Regret for yelling at her about the drugs regret about not taking our relationship further regret about everything. I love that girl and shes laying in a hospital bed

We were sitting in the waiting room when stevies mom asked if we wanted to see stevie turns out he broke his arm in like six different places

"Wheres bunny?" The small boy asked the group fuckshit looked at the ground refusing to meet anyones gaze "she got hurt too.." i said with a small reassuring smile to not make the boy worry

"Is she okay? Did she break her arm too?" He asked a little worried i shook my head "nah lil man she uhh hurt her head.. we havent seen her yet" i pat his shoulder as the room went quiet before stevies mom came back asking for me

"Is there a ray.. um theres a nurse looking for you." She pointed to the nurse and another woman who i realised was bunnys mom

I walked out and over to the nurse and bunnys mom i noticed the tear tracks down nancys face as she cried "shes still asleep we dont know if she'll wake up.." nancy sobbed before the nurse asked "would you like to see her? You and your friends?" I nodded and grabbed the guys attention before we headed to bunnys hospital room fuckshit hasnt said a word since the crash other than asking to see stevies arm pictures

We walked into the hospital room and instantly i saw her.

Her face was bruised and purple. Her hair poked out of the bandges around her head and she had an iv stuck in her arm she looked like shit..

"Oh my god" fuckshit mumbled almost breaking down "shes really fucked up" ruben sighed and fourthgrade nodded before we were interupted by nancy again "it wasnt the crash.. shes just busted up from the crash.." we all looked up to the woman who wrapped herself up in her grey cardigan sniffling "she took something... overdosed right in the back of the car.." she concluded as we all looked to the sleeping girl

"You think she'll wake up?" Fourthgrade asked with hope as i looked at her face "i hope so.." i sighed as her mom added in "if she does im going to have to send her back to rehab.. this.. it isnt good for her." She shook her head leaving us alone

Before fuckshit broke down "im sorry.. im so fuckin sorry..." he kept repeating sitting on the edge of bunnys bed holding her bruised up hand

"You knew?" I asked fuckshit with an angry look he just looked away "you fuckin knew didnt you fuckshit!" I whisper yelled as he nodded "i just.. she was different i just wanted my friend back.." he mumbled i could see the small tear tracks on his face his eyes were puffy

The room was quiet for what seemed like forever before we heard small grumbles and bunnys eyes shot open

"Where.. who?..i-" she let out trying to sit up i tried to calm her down and lay her back "shh its okay" the boys were shocked "go get the doctor" i said to ruben and he shot out of his seat running for a doctor

Bunny had looked around the room in confusion blinking slowly "shit" She grumbled as fuckshit held her hand tightly "im so fuckin sorry nora i swear!" He yelped using her real name felt foreign

"Hows your head?" I asked as she looked away from me clearly not wanting to talk "wheres stevie" she asked fuckshit and fourthgrade i felt like shit as she refused to meet my eyes

"He broke his arm in like four different places." Fourthgrade smiled "hes all good though" he reassured the worried girl

"You overdosed.." fuckshit mumbled and she shot up "shit! Im gonna go back to the centre" she mumbled seeming stressed "i think its best if you do.. your still an addict nora.." i added as she finally met my eyes "im sorry.." she said tears streaming from her eyes "its fine your getting the help you need.. and ill come visit you everyday" i smiled kissing her knuckles before the doctors came rushing and made us leave
