"Thanks for the ride." I said to Ryan when we got home.
"Anytime," He said, "I love driving at night, I have a late night drive playlist even."
"Why didn't you play it?"
"Because we were talking." Ryan said,
"Well next time I want to listen to it." He gets his phone out of his pocket and asked me for my phone, I did what he asked and he handed me my phone back less then a minute.
"You got the playlist now on your phone, so you listen to it when you need peace and quiet, feeling sad, feeling happy and everything in between. "
"I can tell your a really good friend." I tell him, looking at my house with no lights on.
"Well me and Meg been friends for a really long time. I can tell your different, in a good way, from the other people she has bought to my party's. They also only last that night."
"Is this her longest relationship?"
"I think so," Ryan gets out of the car and open up my door, "I'll walk you to the door." Meg hasn't even walked me to the door, I just thought it was a myth or something that you have to walk your girlfriend to the door, but I'm not Ryan's girlfriend.
I get my key from my pocket and unlock the door. "Thanks." I said again. He gave me a nod and went back to his car.

Surprisingly mom and dad wasn't mad I didn't get home till after three, I thought this would be a worried moment, like if I'm okay, am I'm dead some where or maybe that just knew I was okay. I've heard that some parents can feel when they're child has died, maybe they believe in that.
I'm scrolling through the pictures I took last night on my phone. Meg and me when we got to her car before we left my house, someone took a picture of me on Ryan shoulders, and I think my favorite, Meg smiling at me across the room.
My dad waves me to get out the car, I unbuckled and walked towards him. Next weekend is Fourth Of July and it's my dad and mines favorite holiday, we never buy fireworks without asking each other. We know the best and we don't waste money on little fireworks, Isaac is the one that buys the cheap $8 dollars 20 shots fireworks, yes they good but not good like the Thunder Rumble with 35 big shots or Thunder Clap, anything with the name thunder is pretty good.
"How about this one?" Dad asked me, it doesn't look familiar but the fireworks they are showing on the TV is from the one he is looking at and they look really good, "we haven't had it before but I've watched that video," he points to the screen, "5 times and I think it's good." I agree with him then look around. This is one of my favorite firework stands because they always remember us, has holds for us, and just has good deals.
"Are you inviting anyone to are big Fourth Of July celebration?" My dad asked, scaring me.
"Meg maybe, why?"
"What about her friends? Ryan and Jared?"
"Josh," I correct him, "I don't really know them."
"But Meg does." I guess he's right but how am I supposed to ask them? Tell Meg they can come? Or like find they numbers somehow? Or what about I following them around town and act as if I just happened to bump into them?
"But it's up to you." Dad said, he goes to check out.
I get out my phone and texted Meg.
Izzy: "just was wondering if you wanted to come here for Fourth Of July?" She texted right back.
