Osamu decided to go home earlier today.
Of course he loved spending time with his boyfriend, but he was also tired, limbs aching to hit the bed soon.
Suna had proposed staying over, even going as far as throwing the puppy eyes at him , but Osamu had shaken his head softly. "Mom's making dinner", he had explained, amd after a few more kisses and hugs, here Osamu was, on his way home.
It was a quiet evening, a peaceful one, and the grey haired male concluded that today had been a great day. The only thing that was missing was coming home and having his mom's delicious dinner, before finally hitting the bed. However, the closer he got to his home, a weird feeling started blooming in his chest. His heart started beating faster when he heard shouting in the distance, but it almost stopped altogether when he recognized it as his own mother's voice.
'What the hell is going on?!', Osamu thought and fastened his steps, still not able to completely make out the words she was shouting.
Out of nowhere, his brother's face suddenly blinked in his mind, the dead eyes with tears running down his pale face. Sudden terror gripped his chest as a thought crossed his mind.
'What if...?'
Fastening his steps to the point where he was sprinting, the grey haired male came closer to his house, and could finally make out the words being shouted.
"YOU DON'T EVEN TRY TO BE BETTER, DO YOU?! IT'S JUST A FUNNY GAME FOR YOU!!"
...what?
Osamu's steps froze momentarily when he heard his mother, and his breath hitched. She was arguing with Atsumu, no doubt, but what the hell was she saying?
He'd never heard her voice sound like that, and especially had she never said those words before.
So what was she saying??
By the time he took out the keys out of his bag, his hands were shaking badly.
The sound of a plate breaking on the floor, and Osamu flinched. Hard.
'Open, just open, why can't you finally open??!!'
Just as he was ready to throw it off its hinges, the door opened and he stepped in, a scream echoing in the hallway again.
"I WISH YOU WOULD JUST LEAVE FROM OUR LIVES!! I WOULDN'T HAVE TO WASTE MONEY AND WOULDN'T HAVE TO BE SO ASHAMED OF YOU!!"
The grey haired male gasp, hand flying to his mouth as his eyes flew open.
Atsumu...
Shit, shit, shit, shit!!
Taking off his shoes in a hurry, quite literally ripping them off before running towards the kitchen, not acknowledging anything around him before hurrying to stop his mother who was holding a cup in the air, fully intending to throw it to the floor.
His trembling hands grabbed his mother's wrist."MOM, WHAT THE HELL??!!"
Osamu was panting harshly as he watched her eyes widen in shock at the sight of him.
It had gotten dead silent in a matter of seconds, as if even time has frozen in shock at the twin's appearance.
They stayed still, completely unmoving for a couple of seconds, before she slowly lowered her arm, scoffing and ripping it away from his grip, turning on her heels and walking right out of the door.
It slammed close and Osamu remained in the same position for a few seconds.
As the adrenaline wore off, Osamu himself became aware of how he himself was trembling badly and how his thoughts were racing a mile per minute, desperately trying to make sense of the horror having taken place in their own household.
If he hadn't come in time and agreed to stay with Suna, Atsumu would be...
