NATHAN DECIDED TO RE-JOIN THE BASKETBALL TEAM, his statement was that he wanted to beat Dan knowing the information he found out the other night he felt like he could beat him and he didn't want to walk away. The following night, Josie had a nightmare about her pathetic skills on basketball, she sucked and she knew that. The Cameron and James girls were failing physical education and they needed to make a free throw shot in one of their classes.

Haley went to go ask Lucas while Josie stepped inside her brother's room, knocking first. Once she heard a faint 'come in.' She opened the door and noticed him doing his homework. She raised a brow, "James Cameron, doing homework without Haley James."

James rolled his eyes, glancing up at his sister, who made her way to sit down on his bed, "What's up?"

"So, I need to borrow a couple things from you, like your basketball and you." Josie looked at him. James immediately turned around confused on why his sister would want to play basketball. During their years, Josie has supported him by going to his basketball games but  never showed interest in playing...ever

"Okay, why?"

"I'm flagging PE and I need you to show me how to throw a free throw." Josie gestured to her hand trying to shoot an imaginary ball.

"I'd love to Jo, but I promised Haley first." James lifted himself up from his seat and walked over to his shelf and grabbed one of  his basketballs, handing it to her.

"Right." Josie smiled, taking hold of the basketball and narrowed her eyes at him, "Have fun...not too much fun."

Josie stood in the middle of the River Court and  held the ball out, in front of her before she jumped, throwing the ball  into the air. She watched as it made its way back to the ground, not even near the hoop. The sound of someone stepping out of their car caused her to mentally curse at herself.

"Was that your jump shot?" Nathan's voice filled her ears, a small chuckle escaping his lips. He grabbed the ball from the ground and glanced at his girlfriend, "Because if that was your jump shot, I can't date you anymore." Josie chuckled, shaking her head as Nathan walked over to her, "My mom said you'd be here, something about a grade?"

"Yeah. You cannot be here right now." Josie nodded, folding her arms across her chest. She noticed Nathan frown his eyebrows, "I look stupid, that's why."

"You realize I've seen you in that poncho you wear, right?" Nathan asked, handing her the ball. Jose narrowed her eyes at him as she smiled.

"This is embarrassing and I want you to think I am not embarrassing." Josie replied, looking down at the ball in her hands.
