Burdened with glorious purpose

Chapter 3

You and Loki finally arrived on Asgard.

You sighed in relief "It's good to be home" You smiled.

"Where's Heimdall?" Loki questioned.

"Yeah, if Heimdall didn't let us back home who opened the bi-frost?"

You turned around and saw a man standing behind you.

"Hi I'm Skur-" You cut him off before he even finished.

"And I don't care" You laughed.

"Now darling, be nice" Loki spoke sarcastically.

"Come on let's go!" You grabbed Loki by the arm and you both ran across the rainbow bridge.

Although you acted like you hated Asgard, you always acted like children when you arrived home as deep down you knew that there was no place like home.

First things first, Loki decided to go and tell Odin he has returned from Midgard. You entered the palace and kneeled before the all-father, even though you were the Goddess of mischief you still knew how to behave around authority figures, well the ones you respected anyways and as Odin is the all-father and your boyfriends father you felt like you needed to respect him.

"Ahhh my son and Lady Aite. It's okay my child you can stand" He pointed at you as you were still on you knee.

"Now what can I do for my son?" Odin questioned.

"I just came here to tell you that me and Lady Aite are back from Midgard"

You hated being called 'Lady Aite' although it was your last name, you didn't like being called it, you would much rather prefer ­­­Y/N or Goddess of mischief or darling, my pet and my queen if you was talking to Loki alone.

"Right, well I won't keep you waiting. Go and have your fun" Odin spoke to the both of you.

You and Loki both smiled and ran out of the palace like children excited to get ice cream.

"Oh and Loki!" Odin shouted his name.

"Yes father?"

"Did you bring Thor with you?" He asked.

You and Loki both looked at each other and laughed and knew that if Thor was here you wouldn't be talking to Odin you would be in the dungeons instead.

"No father, I think he is still on Midgard with Lady Jane" He lied.

Odin nodded in return and you both went back to running to Loki's chambers.

Okay so maybe all the stuff about you and Loki doing cutesy couple stuff was wrong, Asgard truly made your good side come out in the both of you.

Arriving in Loki's chambers you jumped on his giant bed. Loki joined you and gave you a massive hug. You could tell you both really missed home as you very rarely acted childish around each other.

You and Loki kissed gently.

You both laid on the bed and giggled to yourselves.

"So what shall we do now?" Loki asked.

"Well I say we go and cause some mischief and let everyone know that we're home" You suggested.

"You see Y/N , This is why we are so good together. We always have the same ideas" He kissed you once more.

Although Loki meant what he said, it still pained you that he didn't say 'that's why I love you' instead, come to think of it he hasn't really said I love you at all. But never the less you pushed your sadness aside and replied to Loki in that sassy tone of yours

"That's because we're both mischievous dipshit. Now come one lets go" You grabbed Loki one more time and ran around Asgard causing all types of mischief together.

*Meanwhile on earth*

"No stark! Loki and Lady Aite will not be on Asgard they both hate that place" Thor informed Tony.

You see what Thor didn't know was that you both loved Asgard and lucky for you the only people who knew that where both of your parents and of course yourselves.

"Yes, that's what I'm saying. We need to check Asgard Thor" Stark replied.

"Look Stark, Y/N and Loki both hate Asgard so why would they go to a place they both hate to hide from us?" He questioned.

"I don't know Thor, you tell me?"

"I am telling you and my answer is no we're not going to Asgard"

"Oh will you two stop arguing. If Y/N and Loki both hate Asgard there is not point looking there as they clearly wont be there" Natasha interrupted them both.

Once again this was where the Avengers were wrong as you were both on Asgard hiding from them.

"Well we need to keep looking for them" Stark repeated himself.

"Then lets go" Natasha said.

*Back on Asgard*

"You two have been back for 3 hours and you've already cause mischief. Some things never change do they" Odin said to you.

You and Loki both laughed.

"I remember when you were both younger. You were both inseparable and was always causing mischief. You haven't changed a bit." Odin reminded you both of your childhood.

"Remember that time you turned into a snake and stabbed Thor?" You asked.

"Remember? How could I forget that was your idea and it was brilliant"

You both looked at Odin and saw him chuckle to himself.

"I will excuse you two for now, but if you're sent here again there will be consequences"

You and Loki both nodded trying your best not to laugh.

"We all know we never get punished anyways" You said whilst running away.

You stopped in your tracks, Loki pushed you against a pillar and kissed you passionately, your tongues danced with one another for a while and then you finally broke contact both gasping for air.

"That my dear is where you're correct. We never got shouted at as children and we definitely wont get shouted at now"

Once again you both laughed and made your way back to Loki's chambers.
