Chapter 19

"My son... Lady Aite" Odin spoke as you both walked up to his throne.

You rolled your as as you were called 'lady Aite' but luckily that was one of the last times you will be called that name.

"Asgard. We are here today to commemorate the marriage of Loki Odinson and Y/N Aite" He began to speak.

"Now we all know how much these two both hate ceremonies, so lets make this quick" Everyone laughed at Odin's truth, whenever you were younger you both always tried to cause chaos so the ceremonies would end, but not today.

"Loki, do you wish to say anything to Y/N?" He asked.

Loki looked nervous and you could tell. "Well there's a first time for everything" You joked.

"Y/N, my darling. I have liked you from the minute we met when we were younger and I realised I loved you the day you captured me with the Avengers"

You laughed softly as you remembered that moment so well. "I had no idea that six years later we would be standing in Asgard getting married... In this very room we had an argument, one I hated, I thought I was going to lose you"

"You'd never lose me" You smiled wiping the tears away from your eyes.

"If I remember correctly I told you that..."

"It's you, it's always been you and I love you and you only" You spoke together as you both remembered what Loki said to you that day.

"There's no one else quite like the Goddess of Mischief and I can't wait to marry her" Loki finished his speech.

You were on the verge of tears from Loki's speech, but you tried to hide it. Loki wiped the remaining tears off of your cheek and kissed your hand.

"Now Y/N, is there anything you would like to say to Loki?" Odin asked .

"Well, where do I begin" You spoke.

The whole of Asgard joined in with you as you laughed. "Loki, ever since we caused mischief when we were younger I knew we would be friends for our entire lives, but what I didn't realise was that I would be marrying you. The day I was made to baby sit in your cage was the day you won me over with your charm."

Loki smirked as he knew you were right.

"We all know I'm not good with sentimental things or words so I'm just going to finish here. Loki you mean the world to me, I love you and only you. There's no one quiet like the God of Mischief and I can't wait to marry him" You laughed as you stole the line Loki previously said to you.

"Loki, my son... Y/N" Odin spoke

You and Loki both looked up at Odin and held hands.

"Loki do you take Y/N to be your wife?"

Loki placed your ring on your finger "I do." He had a huge grin on his face.

"Y/N do you take Loki to be your Husband?"

You placed Loki's ring on his finger. "I do" You spoke.

"With the power vested in me from the All-Fathers. I know pronounce you husband and wife"

Everyone clapped as you were now pronounced husband and wife, but what they didn't know was that the ceremony was not over. Odin took his spear and hit in on the ground in order to silence everyone.

"Y/N would you mind?" Odin asked you to move aside so he could crown Loki the new King of Asgard.

Loki kneeled in front of his father to begin the ceremony. You could hear mumbles from everyone talking as no one knew what was going on.

"Y/N, What's going on?" Thor asked from behind you.

"Watch and find out" You told him.

"Loki Odinson, my heir, my second born"

Loki nodded at his father as his coronation began. "I have protected the lives of the people of the Nine Realms for quiet some time, but now my time has come."

You heard quiet a few gasp as people started to realise what was happening.

"He's not crowning Loki as King is he?" Thor asked you.

"Thor, just be quiet" You snapped at him.

"Loki, do you swear to protect the Nine Realms?" Odin asked.

"I swear!" Loki answered

"Do you swear to preserve the peace?" Odin asked once again.

"I swear!" Loki spoke.

"Do you swear to cast aside all selfish ambition and to pledge yourself only to the good of the realms?" He asked once last time.

Loki's voice got louder as he was proud of the moment that was about to happen. "I swear!" He said one last time.

"Then on this day I Odin All-Father, proclaim you the rightful King of Asgard" He finally announced, and everyone gasped as he did so.

"You may stand and kiss your queen" Odin spoke.

You walked back over to Loki who was now the King of Asgard. "I finally have my queen" He said.

"You've had her all along" you told him as he went in for a kiss.

"I love you my queen" Loki whispered into your ear.

"I love you too my king" You told him back.

Loki held your hand and stood in front of the throne, Odin handed him is spear and he banged it on the ground to dismiss everyone to the banquet hall were the wedding and coronation celebrations would be held.

Everyone walked out of the palace leaving only, you, Loki, Thor and Jane.

"My children, we all need to talk" Odin told all four of you.
