He sat on the floor as he covered his face. Small sobs overwhelmed him, but Oma Kokichi knew it would be gone soon.

D.I.C.E would be coming soon. They were the only ones knew about their leader's breakdowns, but they were never there to see it. That's because the Ultimate Supreme Leader could time it all.

Now, he was quite sly and barely ever planned something with a flaw. The rest of D.I.C.E and Kokichi knew each other because they were from an orphanage. Seeing their dead eyes made the Ultimate Supreme Leader's heart soften, and before he knew it he held out his hand to a girl with long hair.

Hana, that was the fortunate girl's name.

Eyes black and hair brown with braided sides. Hana. None of the people at the orphanage had a last name, but it worked perfectly fine because of the cruel system.

Back when the grape-looking boy was still vulnerable and had no mask, he would cry with his friends every now and then before they had formed their little 'secret organization'. The purple-haired boy had stopped almost immediately.

Most of his thoughts were clogged at the time, and he ended up telling himself not to act sad when his members were still developing their own personalities.

Currently, he was wiping his nose with his purple cape. He gave a big smile into the mirror.

The thing was, no one could tell what his smiles' was hiding. It frustrated all members who ever came across talking with their moody boss.

Kokichi dabbed a scented napkin around his eyelids to remove the evidence of his crying. Right now, sleeping was the only way to reduce his puffiness.

He slept.

"BOSS! WAKE. UP!"

Hair a mess, he sat up and rubbed his eyes. Oh, nice, they felt normal. Kokichi looked up at Hana and a few others, breathing in for a big rant.

"Do you guys know how tired I was? Do you guys not realize that even the leader needs sleep occasionally? Am I just a bat to you? Nocturnal?"

Kumiko smiled sheepishly. She had shiny pale hair that was purple. What better way to complement herself with hoop earrings?

Her expression spoke: Well, it's still broad daylight, mister.

"Weeeeeell, we have some great news."

"Oh? I don't think so. Goodnight," he said despite seeing the clock which read 3:49 p.m.

Hana quickly shook her saviour back to life. "No, this isn't actually good news." She glared at Kumiko who pursed their lips and began whistling with eyes darting to the right.

"This might be something you're concerned of."

"I have nothin' I'm afraid of!"

"I didn't say you'd be afraid!" Hana sighed at her leader's childish attitude. "I'm going to be blunt, and you better not make me your errand girl after it. Your classmates from high school. . . they're here."

For most other people, that would deserve a reaction of 'can I meet them' or 'what's your point'.

He was never most other people.

"Are you kidding me?" he shrieked. The members, shocked by his sudden outburst, backed up.

"They did come to Tokyo," Hana murmured while putting her hands on her lips to motion the others to not speak.

"How close are they? I'm probably not going to need to bother if they're from, I don't know, Sora's place—"

"Few kilometers."

Sora, a tall boy with a red afro hair, scratched the back of his head.

"They don't like me," was all Kokichi said.

Another tall boy with shiny pale hair covering one eye groaned. "They sure don't. We can just move to Australia now."

"Shut up, pink-face!" Hana yelled. Regardless of his obvious pale skin, Hana always called him pink-face because she didn't like his pink hair.

"Mezeto, shh," Sora muttered.

"You can shut up too, Sora," snapped Mezeto. Hana instructed Sora to escort him out since she wanted to be with Kokichi as they conversed about the situation.

"What to do. . ."

He leaned back and smiled. There was a person or two in high school willing to even talk to him in a normal sense after a few days.

Those classmates sure made me lose my thoughts on D.I.C.E for a while. Oh well, nothing could've been done about that.

"Boss?" Hana whispered slightly.

It was abrupt, but Kokichi managed to hide his reaction. "Well, let's see. All of them, you say?"

"Uh-huh."

"That's a pickle. I don't have a plan." He smirked. "Or was that a lie?"

Hana just stared at her boss with a knowing look while the others had a similar expression.

Oma Kokichi jumped up from his bed, still in his official clothes of the organization. He jumped on the chair from a faraway distance and right away began to jot some things down.

The other members by the bed shared a glance before heading to the table.

"What do you have in mind?" Kumiko asked, genuinely curious for once.

"Don't know. Maybe just drive them away? Bombard them with grenades until they collapse while running? Like I said, I don't know."

He grinned and turned his head back to his work. "Or that could be a lie."

"Everything's a lie from that annoying grape's mouth!" came a muffled voice from another room.

"Mezeto," they groaned.

A shh hushed the boy. Obviously Sora.

"What do you say?" Kumiko said while dragging the last part.

"I don't know~"

Even though he didn't express it in words, it was obvious to everyone. Kokichi had already put his hands behind his head and started twirling in the chair. It was a lie.

"I'll get Mezeto to look into it. Those 17 people. . .they're oddly close. They came back at the same time, they're gathered together—"

"You shouldn't overthink it," Sora stated quietly. He walked into the room and closed it behind.

"How's Mezeto?" asked Kumiko.

"Sleeping."

Hana sighed and tilted her head. She always 'overthinks' things, but Kokichi says it's just her pointing out the important stuff no one really bothered to check before.

Kokichi stopped spinning and saw that most of D.I.C.E was leaving the room.

Ayano was one of the few that decided to stay still.

Ayano had pigtails and a symmetrical round blotch on each side of her cheek, like blush. Her pigtails were twisted and the overall colour was a somewhat gray-brown. She was also deaf.

Hana was also there, smiling and saying 'that's my boss' or something.

Even though Ayano couldn't hear, she could only imagine what Oma Kokichi had said that made Hana's smile waver.

"Oh, and Hana, since you were so blunt with me, you're my errand girl. Grape Panta! Thank you~"
