[イザム] Izamu
I had always lived in a dumpster before I found out about the orphanage. Whenever my ego busted and I got mad at some members, I'd just camp out in a dumpster. Apparently, the first time, they didn't find me for a week and got pretty nuts. That was when they heard about my "Hometown," Trash Land.
To be honest, I don't think it's a famous street or anything. It's just where people drop off things they don't want and gradually build up the pile. How lovely it was just to find a single blanket.
Fun fact: I actually knew how this massive bulk of trash began in system.
Fun fact: My parents started it.
Unlike most of the members in D.I.C.E, my parents lasted long enough for me to have a so-called 'childhood.' I'm happy, I guess. They weren't abusive, and they were pretty neat. And I didn't mean physically. They littered everywhere; despite that I grew up eco-good kid.
One time, they forgot to pay rent. Don't get me wrong. We weren't poor, they were just a little irresponsible at that time.
We had to chill on a street, and they ended up throwing all the garbage behind one bush.
The next time we forgot to pay rent—well, we went back to that street, and there was a pile of shit.
Annndd they were roommates.
Sorry.
Completely ignoring the fact that I just made a bad pun about my parents cuddling in a tree—that happened in my past, so yeah. Peeps be traumatized. And I genuinely do not know why.
What to do now? No idea. I actually had an idea—just keep trying to go back. As far as I'm concerned, Sora's house is extremely far from our base, and this street is about twice the length from it. Maybe I should wait for them to come.
But then again—I don't really see my patience. Patience? Huh? Who she?
As I was thinking about wagering between two good choices for once in my life, I saw my friend and leader.
Ultimate Supreme Leader, Oma Kokichi. I've never been happier to see his purple hair wave in the wind.
"KOKICHI!" I yelled, but then I remembered the shit I did, and lowered my head.
He sighed. "If you know what you did is wrong, just come back. We've already done some discussing, so I wanna talk about it with you. Totally cool if you don't want to, I don't want to vibe like a strict grandma anymore."
I grinned. Either he didn't know how to read the mood or just could lighten the mood. I think it's lightening the mood, to be honest.
"Where am I going to go now?" I asked. Kokichi gave me a look which meant I asked a stupid question. That's right, nothing even happened that mean I was going to get kicked out or anything—
Wait.
He did say that if any of us fought without using a dice or killed someone, he'd throw us out. Was it a joke? Definitely hope so.
"Back to the mansion, duh. Are any of your bones broken?"
"I-I. . .don't know."
"Holy fucks you're dumb. You shoulda done that first or second. Hurry up. Get up. Imma see if you can at least walk."
"I think I can do that."
"You think, not you know. And you barely even think anyway so this would be nice practice."
"I can walk."
"Good. Get in the Jeep."
"WE HAVE A JEE—"
He smiled and slapped my shoulder in a buddy way. "Stole it."
Of course he would. It wouldn't be like him to actually buy something expensive as a car. Or an ice-cream, in that matter.
I've heard second-hand that when getting a job, Mezeto and the others were struggling hard to not just punch the manager in the face and hurry up with the job. It must've been sad to listen forever on how to manage a store.
Anyway, right now I was wondering a couple of things.
None of them included who he stole the Jeep from, of course. That type of stuff is irrelevant when this is an everyday thing.
I swished them out of my mind to go inside. I can't really think while moving, then again, who can?
"Everybody," Kokichi grunted. That little pink sure can read minds. Then again, who can't read mine?
Because he says I'm extremely simple minded, so yeah.
The Jeep was pretty new if I do say so myself. It was white but there was some fresh mud on the tires, probably from wherever Kokichi went with the car. He could've gone to some desert and I wouldn't know.
"Izamu, get the hell in. We aren't going to wait all day."
"We?" my eyes sparkled. It would be good to reunite with some—
And then the door to the backseat opened. Kokichi pulled the handle and then looked at me with raised eyebrows.
This was not the person I had in mind for a beginning reunion.
But I had learnt some things from Kokichi first-hand from watching him for so long, so I could pull something up.
"Aww, you wanted to see me so much that you decided to visit? That's really adorable, but I would've preferred if you hadn't come." Kokichi made an 'o' shape with his mouth in understanding that I was using his tactic.
Sure enough, it triggered Mezeto. He instantly struggled to get out, but, what I presume was just pure instinct, Kokichi set out his right leg to trip him. Mezeto fell head-first on the street.
"Why are you here, anyway?"
He rubbed his cheek while glaring at Kokichi. Then he looked back at me. "Nothing special, and definitely not related to you. Don't get you hopes up."
Thing is, I wouldn't. Especially if it's him. "So? What is it?"
"None of your—" he was cut off by Kokichi. "Noshayo. He's here to see Noshayo."
"Ohhh."
He sort of came off as the person to stay at home and wait for someone he just got into a scuffle with to return. And they probably wouldn't talk.
So of course it surprised me that he was taking the initiative to beat up Noshayo. It was my decision, too. Of course with Kokichi here, I'd probably be restricted, but it's fine since I might be able to land a punch.
