Kaeya's POV

I hadn't seen Albedo in a few days, and i had started to worry. we used to hang out everyday and i had started to catch feelings.. I searched Mondstadt and finally found him in the basement of the chapel- for some odd reason. i thought something was about to explode since the.. stuff.. he was mixing was starting to fizz at dangerous levels. I watched quietly to see if my theory was correct, and soon enough the things were almost foaming over. i then had a realization he was making something for Klee, and that wasnt supposed to happen since ive made it before with Jean, multiple times. i jumped down and pulled Albedo away from the table he was working at before he could harm himself. "Gah- Kaeya what the hell?? i was working." Albedo scoffed at me while struggling to get out of my firm embrace. "you need to watch what your doing. you were about to explode Klee's -insert cool name thingy here-." I responded, with a serious-ish tone. He then looked at me confused, and asked "Kaeya- how the fuck did you know what i was doing? how long have you been watching me." 

I then had to explain that Jean and I used to make it together when i was still a new recruit, and he then looked at what he did wrong, unable to find it. I then helped him finish it, and then we set it out for Klee in Jean's office. I couldnt help but blush at the thought of him in my arms, even though i was just stopping him from exploding his shit. I had finally decided that id tell him about my feelings. We walked out of the Knights of Favonius headquarters, and i took his hand then started sprinting up the stairs to the cathedral and giant statue of Barbatos. i led him to the railing in front of Barbatos, and then looked out over Mondstadt, letting go of his hand. 

"K- Kaeya?" Albedo said quietly, in a confused tone. I turned to see his adorable face, and then took both his hands in mine and looked to the side, not wanting eye contact. "Albedo.. i love you.. im sorry if this is all of a sudden and you dont feel the same way but your so cute and smart and i want you in my life forever.." i said, chocking on my words. He stood there, shocked. he finally spoke after a minute or two, "Kaeya- im sorry but.. Im a crusader from the 1940s fighting for the Holy Land, Jerusalem. I am truly devoted to the Holy Land, and will never give up and hand Jerusalem to the other religions. CRUSADERS FOREVER!!" he then ran off, yelling about these 'Holy Lands'. i started sobbing uncontrollably, that was such a plot twist.
