3rd PERSON POV
That day started like any other day.
Natasha got ready for work, grabbed a small baked bun from the town's bakery, and held it in her mouth until she had placed all her papers and books on her desk outside of Carina's office.
Natasha would, then, spend the next 15 minutes setting everything up.
Her pens, her note pads, and making sure her telephone was working.
But as Natasha sorted all her files and papers, a loud grunt shouted from the room behind her.
...
...
...
Silence...
Natasha shrugged it off until the small grunt turned into a frustrated yell.
"Oh C'MON!- ...ok, ok, ok...calm down. Lord, I'm sorry for my outburst, but... I need a little help here- ...ok, there we go... Thanks!"
Natasha shook her head at her boss, only to be interrupted by the small clock on her desk as it gave a small chime which made her aware of the time.
"Mh!"
She chewed on her bun, grabbed the schedule card and ran to Carina's door.KNOCK.KNOCK.KNOCK!
"Come in!"
Natasha rushed in with the schedule card...and froze.
Inside her boss's office, was not a well organised therapist who was sitting behind her desk praying to God... but rather... a therapist who looked as if she needed therapy HERSELF!
"Since the end of the war 20 years ago... this is the most insane I've seen you. What...are you doing?"
Natasha asked, confused at what her boss was wearing.
"Don't worry, I have this all figured out..."
Natasha shook her head at the strange disguise her friend/boss was wearing.
A blond bob wig that she was trying to shove all her hair into.
A long sleeved, blue suit.
And a pair of black heels. On her face was a small bit of pink lipstick, drawn on freckles, and some thin, orange glasses with no lenses in them.
"Are you SURE you're not having a mental breakdown? Sure, I wasn't in the military and didn't experience anything that would make me go mad... but I thought you were over with all that?"
"Do not question my methods, Natasha... like I said."
She finished tucking all her hair into the wig.
"I know what I'm doing."...
...
...
"Erm... if you say so, Carina-"
"Also..." she took a sip of coffee and looked into the mirror. "Don't call me by that name."
"Dare I ask, why?"
"You'll understand soon... In the meantime just call me...eh...I dunno... Alexis Thoura!"
"Alexis Tho-...Isn't that the name of the Author of that book everyone's been talking about?"
"Fine... what's my name backwards?"
"I...Um... A...N...I...R-
"Anirac! ... that's it!"
"A...Are you sure?"
