My boyfriend ~ Vinnie Hacker

Episode 22

After a day of pacing halls, crying, complaining, we started pushing. My mom and Maria held both of my hands.

"Cmon baby you got this," Maria says moving my hair out of my face. I started crying.

"I can't push anymore, I'm in so much pain," I said. My mom grabs my hand.

"Mi Amor, You have to push, push as hard as you can, She's almost here," She says and kisses my hand. I give myself a second and push as hard as I can. I hear the faint cries and I lay my head on the pillow, Completely tired. The woman brought my baby to me. She was beautiful. 

"I'm going to walk with her," Vinnie says kissing my head I nod. Maria takes a cold rag and wipes the sweat off of my face. The nurse comes in and checks on me.

"How are you feeling?" She asks.

"Tired, and dirty," I say she nods.

"Well, you can get some rest now," She says.

"When can I shower?" I ask breathlessly.

"Why don't you get some rest Mi amor, and you can shower later," My mom says I nod. I lay my head down. About 2 hours later the doctors come in, I eat something they help me out of my bed to take a shower, after my shower they help me get into a new clean bed. I hear the door open I look up and see Vinnie holding the baby in a pink blanket he walks over to me slowly.

"Wanna meet your mama?" He asks softly to our baby girl. I smile. He hands her to me, she was all clean and beautiful she had pretty black hair, just like me, I could see that. Her little face and tiny hands. She was very small.

"She has to be one of the smallest babies i delivered," The doctor says.

"She doesn't have anything wrong does she?" I ask she shakes her head no.

"Okay good," I say craddling my small baby. 

"We are going to bring you to your room now," They say I nod and they wheel my bed to my room. They occasionally took her back for some tests and brought her back.

"Have we decided a name yet?" She asks. I look at Vinnie.

"Mackenzie Rain Hacker," I say she smiles.

"Rain, I like that," She says I smile.

Release day.

They wheel me down and we get to the car. 

"Now, dad I'm going to need you to put baby in the car, and we will get mom in the car," She says I nod. Vinnie takes Mackenzie's car seat and sets it in the base in the back seat. They help me into the car and Vinnie drive's us home. I was happy to be home, I hated hospitals.

I walked upstairs holding onto the rails and made my way to her nursery. Vinnie grabbed her out of the car seat and handed her to me. I walk   the room with her Vinnie stands close. 

"You wanna take a nap?" He asks I nod. I hand him the baby and slowly make my way to my room. I get into bed and fall asleep.

She's here! 6 and a half pounds healthy baby girl, Mackenzie Rain Hacker. She's such a cutie

Mackenie and I had an appointment.

I was wearing a black shirt and black leggings that had Nike written on my thighs. I had regained my strength and was back to normal.
