That night Roxanne and Vinnie had sex. It was extremely special to Roxanne she savored every moment of it and how gentle he was usually when they had sex it was rough which Roxanne liked but this time it was sweet and meaningful. Roxanne woke up thinking about last night. Then reality hit her again like a train. Rachel was pregnant with the love of her life's baby. She pulled the silk sheet and velvet comforter to her chest as she heard the door open. Vinnie stood in the doorway he looked flustered.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Rachel has an OBGYN appointment and wants us to come," He says. I nod. He closes the door and I get up and get ready. I put on black skinny jeans with a light blue blouse from my clothing line. I paired it with gold jewelry. Once I was ready I walked down. My mother was sitting on the couch.

"Thanks for watching Kenz," I say kissing her cheek.

"She's my grandchild She isn't a burden," She says sweetly. I nod and we leave once we get to the place I take a big breath in and open the door. Rachel sat in one of the chairs she had a small but noticeable bump. Roxanne was small than Rachel. Rachel was tall and fit. Roxanne was short slim and curvy. Rachel smiled sweetly at me and glared at Vinnie. I felt uneasy and like my legs were giving up on me I successfully walked to the chair and sat we waited for the doctor. A few minutes passed and they eventually called her. We walked to the room I walked behind Rachel.

"Do you want them in the room?" The doctor asks Rachel she nods. We walk in I sit in the chair next to the window.

"Okay let's get started," The doctor says slipping her gloves on. Rachel rolls her shirt up.

"So how long ago did you figure out you were pregnant?" The doctor asks.

"Um around 3 or 4 months ago," Rachel says. I raise my eyebrow. 3 or 4 months what?

"Okay," The doctor says.

"So are you a surrogate?" She asks.

"Oh no, That's my ex-fiance and his girlfriend," She says. I sigh at the way she said it.

"He's a cheating lying scum bag," She says avoiding eye contact with Vinnie. I look at him and see anger written all over his face.

"Rachel, why do you have to be such a bitch?" Vinnie asks.

"Vinnie stop, she is pregnant with your baby, let's not fight," I say. He looks at me angrily.

"I agree with Roxanne, She deserves better anyway," She says rolling her eyes at Vinnie he grits his teeth together and clenches his jaw.

"Whatever," He says.

"You look to be around 18 weeks pregnant, So around 5 months," She says. When she says 5 months my heart clenches they were still together then that means she was pregnant when they broke off their engagement which means I'm a homewrecker. I suddenly feel my breath get caught in my throat my heart was racing I felt sick to my stomach.

"I- Um I need to leave," I say struggling to talk. I leave the room barely able to breathe, Each breath was harder to catch than the last, I was panicking struggling to breathe, that's when darkness took over and I felt my body hit the ground.

I woke up the bright light hurt I closed my eyes and opened them again. My mouth was dry and my body was cold. I heard the beeping and some voices in the background. I looked around I was in a hospital. Shit. The door opened.

"Ah you're up, How are you feeling?" The man asks walking closer to me.

"Tired, cold, and thirsty," I say he laughs.

"Well, that makes sense,"

"Does anything hurt?"

"My head and throat," I say he nods and touches behind my ears and jaw bone.

"I'll get you something to drink," He says as he walks towards the door.

"Um What happened to me?" I ask.

"You fainted from stress, lack of sleep, food, and liquids," He says I nodded. The door opens and I see my little girl running in.

"Mommy! you're okay," She says. She climbs in the bed and sits in my lap she places her small hands on my cheeks.

"I thought you were gonna die," She says I laugh softly.

"No mommy's okay," I say. Vinnie stands in the doorway. My mom comes and grabs Mackenzie from off of my lap she kisses my head.

"I'm glad you're okay Mi Amor," She says walking out of the room with Kenzie behind her.

"Why didn't you tell me you were under a lot of stress, and not eating? Rox, Are you trying to kill yourself?" He asks.

"Look I don't want to hear your criticism, You got her pregnant while you were still together, Vinnie she is going to have your child in less than 3 months," I say. He sighs.

"I know," He says.

"Well, why would I not be under a lot of stress?" I ask. The doctor brings some water to me.

"You can leave," He says I nod. He leaves the room I get up and Vinnie helps me.

"We can talk about this later just take me home please," I say he nods. We all drive home and my mother comes to my room she sits on the edge of my bed.

"Whats causing you so much stress bambino?" She asks (baby).

"She's 5 months pregnant which means she was pregnant when they broke up I'm a home wrecker," I say crying she frowns and cuddles me.

"Bambino you are not a home wrecker," she's says.

"Maybe it isn't meant to be after all," I say tears fall down my cheeks.

"Baby don't say that all good relationships have multiple bumps on the road," she says.

"Mom he was engaged she was pregnant every time we try it doesn't work out the universe obviously doesn't want us together," I say.

"Who cares what the universe wants it's what you want what your heart wants," she says.

"Bambino I think it's time to come home... for
Good," she says.

"But my whole life is here mom in LA," I say.

"Well your family is in Seattle," she says.

"Make up your mind baby, i think it's best if you come home, I'm leaving tomorrow, I think you should come home though, Mackenzie needs her family," she says.
