Why did I always get butterflies🦋
Yelena's POV:
Hmm Y/N seemed so bothered. Why was she/he/they acting like this. Was it really over her/his/their friend I mean they must be really close for Y/N to be worried that much. Maybe Y/N likes that guy. I absentmindedly took a cookie out and started chewing. "Hey, you dumb door stop chewing so loudly." Ken doll lookalike snapped. I then chewed my cookie louder and received some glares from other students. This lesson was getting kind of boring Petra had started talking about her cat and flower pot plants. How is this in relation to studio work. Y/N was playing phone games and pretty much everyone was doing something practically anything other than listening to her speak.

Finally it was break and we got assigned to sculpt someone and I chose Y/N and she/he/they chose me. "Are you coming to break?" Y/N questioned and tilted her/his/their head. "I'll meet you in a few minutes. I just have some things I need to get." I said and gave a warm smile. Stupid Zeke was so time consuming. I just wanted to eat waffles with my friends. Y/N looked rather disappointed and scurried along the corridors and to our lunch table. I felt kind of bad for 'ditching' my friends to go see Zeke. He wasn't that important, but he'd get angry if I didn't come and maybe upset too. I pray that Y/N and my friends don't find out I've known Zeke since I was 16. Anyways I dashed down the corridors and to Zeke's classroom only to see him all over another woman. (Imma just make up a random woman) She had long thick blonde hair, she was small, petite and very feminine. She was pretty. And she was indeed too pretty for Zeke. "Morning Zeke." I said and barged in. The lady who was all over him had now scattered away from him and looked a bit annoyed. "Yelena." Zeke said sternly. "Sorry to intrude, but why did you call me here for break." I asked all innocently. "Oh never mind that's all sorted out you can go now." He said and gave me an intense glare. I kind of wanted to spice things up. "You didn't tell me you had such a pretty wife." I said. The woman got flustered and claimed to be his colleague. "So then it's fine to be with you. I see." I said slyly. The woman looked confused at first then horrified. "She's a child." She snapped. "You were with a child after 5 years of dating." The woman said and held back tears. I myself was stunned Zeke had a girlfriend and a pretty one too she also seemed super sweet. "Thanks for telling me Yelena and Zeke this is over." She snapped and stormed out the room. "You brat." Zeke snapped. "How was I meant to know." I shrugged innocently. "Now I'll never get her back." He whispered and tears formed into his eyes. "That wasn't her fault or my fault it was entirely yours." I stated and left a crying Zeke all alone. All of my feelings for Zeke had vanished. Maybe I should tell Y/N. And we can meet again at 'our special place' again and discuss stuff. After ruining Zeke's love life which he deserved I proceeded to join my friends. "There she is. Queen Yelena is late again." Pieck shouted. I swear she always shouts no matter where or when. "Sorry, sorry I just had to get some supplies." I made up an excuse. I then focused my attention on Reiner who was covered and reeked of chemicals. "What happened to you?" I questioned and gestured to him with my hand. I also took notice that Bertolt (that name is so hard to get) was also covered in chemicals and reeked. "We were doing science with Hange." Reiner groaned. Oh Hange the super cool lecturer. "So how did that happen?" I asked awkwardly. "Me and Reiner partnered up for a project and we ended up using the wrong chemicals." Bertolt said and nervously laughed. I noticed Y/N wasn't at the table and my grin was gone. Where was my bestie. 'Yeah keep calling her/him/them bestie until you realize.' My inner voice said. Since when did it boost it's ego. "Where's Y/N?" I asked. "Oh your girlfriend/boyfriend/partner?" Annie questioned. Pieck looked as if she was going to burst out laughing. I just rolled my eyes. Could they all answer the question. She/he/they never came to break. Y/N would never that's weird. My stomach grumbled, but I wanted to find Y/N. "I'll see you guys in a few." I said and ran off. I spent my whole break searching for her/him/them and my luck ran out, because break ended and Y/N was no where to be seen. Did I do something. 'Maybe Y/n likes you.' My inner voice said. What no don't get my hopes up. 'Get your hopes up?' it questioned. No I didn't mean that. The rest of the day went by and I decided to text Y/N to meet in our special place. I never got a reply, but I'd gladly wait.

I walked along the train tracks to our special place and I hoped to see Y/N along the way there, but sadly I never did. She/he/they would come right? I knew it. I know if Y/N saw my message she/he/they wouldn't leave me to sit alone. I was too busy overthinking to notice the familiar face looking at me with those joy filled e/c orbs. "Don't scare me like that." I said. "Woo-hoo Yelena scaring point." She/he/they shouted. Nobody was around this area not a single soul. "I have to confess something." I muttered loud enough for Y/N to hear. "Yes darling confess your undying love for me." She/he/they said in a teasing manner that made my cheeks heat up. "I knew Zeke since I was sixteen and I didn't know he had a girlfriend and we may have done some things." I said really fast. Y/N didn't look angry or disgusted her/his/their features softened. "He's such an idiot he led you on. You didn't know better. Forget about Zeke he's a disgusting smelly dimwit." Y/N snapped. I have never seen that much rage in her/his/their eyes. "You have such twelve year old insults." I said and laughed. "Well Zeke never made you laugh." Y/N said proudly. "Yeah Zeke never made me laugh come to think of it." I said shakily. "Let's forget about that dimwit." Y/N and took her/his/their hand into mine. I didn't pull away I felt comfortable when I was with Y/N. "What's your guilty pleasure song?" I randomly asked. "Let's listen to them and dance." Y/N said with fascination.

"I like this one too." Y/N said carefully. "Do you wanna dance?" I asked her/him/them. "I'd love to !" Y/N exclaimed. We danced for the whole song, but this was the day I knew I was in love. I was in love with Y/N L/N. 'I don't wanna be your friend, I wanna kiss your lips'
