"San," Doctor Min quietly mumbled, waking up the patient. "There's people here for you."With his vision still slightly blurry, the young adult blinked a few times to clear his sight before his eyes landed on an older couple who wore terribly concerned frowns.
"Mum? Dad?" He whispered, almost forgetting that he hadn't actually seen them since the accident. "I can't believe you flew out here to see me!" He happily exclaimed, his arms outstretched while he awaited a warm hug.
While being careful of the many tubes that their son was hooked up to, the couple embraced their boy, as if he would disappear at any moment...as he nearly had.
"We heard what happened to you an-" his father nudged his wife warningly making her purse her lips before leaning down and placing a kiss on San's forehead.
Immediately he was reminded of Wooyoung's lips on his cheek and he immediately whipped his head around to see that the boy who had been stealing his thoughts lately wasn't in his bed, but there were ruffled sheets.
More than likely getting tests done, or maybe he was going for a stroll around the building.
Since San was still overwhelmed from his parents' visit, he didn't bother thinking too hard about his roommate's absence and looked back up.
"Do you remember anything that happened?" Mr. Choi heedfully asked as he held his son's hand tightly, not wanting the warmth of it to go.
Again, San's mind drifted to Wooyoung's finger laced with his own, and how disappointed he had felt when the younger had ended the moment.
"San?" He repeated for the fourth time, bringing the distant boy back to his present situation.
What was Jung Wooyoung doing to him?
"Umm, not really. I do have quite a bad concussion though, so Doctor Min said that I'll probably remember in a bit." As he said this, San looked up to the door and noticed that the said Doctor had already left, but he wasn't sure when.
"Well sweetie," his mum began with her hand resting on his cheek. "We're so glad that our little boy is alright. You don't understand how scared I felt for you," she rushed out, her words becoming so emotional, that eventually tears began welling in her eyes.
Luckily, before the waterworks started, Nurse Jang came in after tapping on the door gently.
"I'm sorry, but San does need his rest. We don't want to overwhelm him too much at once. You're welcome to call back a little later or tomorrow even," he politely requested, standing back from the door to encourage the couple out.
"My baby, will you be alright without me here?" She whispered with great worry while his father held her shoulders and guided her to the exit.
"I'll be fine mum. See you tomorrow?"
"Of course, baby."
And the door shut.
Wooyoung. Where was Wooyoung? He had been gone for quite some time, and his bed was still unmade.
San's lips fell to a frown as he got lost in this daze of thoughts, most of them surrounding a certain brunette.
"Jung Wooyoung," he whispered, his hand hovering over his cheek where he had been kissed.
What would it be like to kiss him?
