OST: At my worst; Pink Sweat
30 minutes had gone by and Jisoo still wasn't home. There was no sign of her coming back. No text message or no call. Jennie cussing herself out for letting her anger get the best of her. She was pacing herself around the living room anxiously trying to think of where she could've gone or where she could've hidden.
"fuck" Jennie sighed out. She was starting to think of the worst ideas that could happen. Sure they have had fights before but Jisoo had never walked out like that before. Jisoo was the calm and collective one, she would talk things out before things would get worse.
She tried to think of places that Jisoo loved to go to. Maybe a chicken restaurant? The beach? The bar? She didn't know where she could've gone. But she had to try something. Anything to find her and apologize for being a douche bag of a girlfriend.
Most logically a place she would go to is the bar, usually with Chaeyoung. She was gonna try there first. But first, she called chaeyoung to see if she was with Jisoo.
"Hello?" Chaeyoung picked up.
"Chaeyoung-ah, is Jisoo with you?" Jennie frantically asked.
"No why? What happened?" Chaeyoung questioned.
"We had a fight and she went off. You have any idea where she could be?" Jennie said with a more worried tone.
"Try Midnight Bar. She usually drinks there. But I swear Jennie Kim, so help me if you break that girl's heart I will break your knee caps." Chaeyoung harshly warned her.
"Ok thanks." Jennie quickly said as she hung up. Great now 2 people are mad at her.
Jennie in a flash got her keys and drove off to the midnight bar. It seemed pretty busy inside and there were a lot of drunk guys in the area which worried Jennie. She frantically searched the vicinity looking for her. She wasn't there. She went back out and check the parking lot, her car wasn't there either.
Stressed, she tried thinking of another area Jisoo would be at. The beach? No, the beach is closed this late at night. Maybe the park they used to go to. It would seem logical right? Either way, she was off to the park to find her.
Probably going over the speed limit and almost ran a red light she arrived at the park. The park where they used to walk around as teenagers. She tried looking around the benches, under the trees, near the swings. She was nowhere to be found. Her car wasn't parked either. She was starting to lose hope. She needed a break before she starts getting more crazier.
She drove back home with much more guilt than she had left. She was starting to lose hope and she prayed that Jisoo didn't do anything stupid. She was getting more scared at the thought of Jisoo harming herself again. Jisoo hadn't done such a thing since a year ago after they had left the hospital. But she knows once you self harm it's hard to stay away.
She arrived at the driveway and see's Jisoo's car parked there. She was home?
Immediately she ran out of her car unlocked the door and saw Jisoo back in the living room.
"BABYIMSORRYISHOUDNTHAVEDONETHATISHOULDNTHAVESAIDTHATIMSORRY!!!" Jennie rambled as she ran into Jisoo's arms. She had to let out all the guilt that she felt for saying such an idiotic thing to her.
"it's ok I for-"
"No don't forgive me you have every right to be mad at me. I'm a shit girlfriend for even saying anything remotely stupid like that." Jennie continued to ramble after cutting off Jisoo.
"Hey. Look at me," Jisoo says in a calm voice to help ease the amount of tension Jennie had.
Jennie looked at her as she was told.
"It ok I forgive you. I know you're tired especially with all the things you did earlier. I just got too worried and over-protected. I'm the one who should say sorry." Jisoo admitted as she held Jennie's hand.
"Jisoo, please let me take the blame for once. I'm not always perfect and today I slipped up badly. I would've gotten worried too if you were gone for the whole day and you didn't tell me. It's my fault and I shouldn't have gotten angry at you and said all those things to you. I'm sorry." Jennie apologetically said as her guilt took over her.
"You know you're a jerk right?" Jisoo chuckled as she tried to lighten the mood a little.
"I know I am, but really I'm sorry. Never and I mean never will I ever tell you I don't want you in my life." Jennie promised.
"Good because I don't like it when things get like this," Jisoo admitted.
"Me neither. I'm just not the perfect girlfriend." Jennie sighed.
"Baby, none of us are perfect. We weren't born to be perfect. Well except for one thing. " Jisoo said as a small smile crept up on her. Jennie already knew that answer.
"Chicken?" Jennie laughed
"Yeah, how'd you know?" Jisoo laughed as she didn't expect her to say that.
"Pfft you look at chicken like a groom looks at his bride." Jennie joked making them both laugh.
"You're not wrong there," Jisoo added as both of them laughed harder.
"But I know you didn't eat either," Jennie warned as she knows Jisoo's ways.
"Wait how do you know about that?" Jisoo questioned as she generally didn't know how she knew that.
"Lots of ways. How about chicken for dinner then. My treat for driving you nuts today and for starving you." Jennie asked.
"How can I say no to that." Jisoo laughed.
That night they ate on the same table again as if nothing had happened earlier on in the day. But not every couple will have good days. Luckily for Jennie, she had a forgiving girlfriend and an understanding one too. She just couldn't imagine not having Jisoo around and that driving her crazy. But it's a good type of crazy. The type that would do anything for their partner, even climb the tallest of buildings just to reach them.
She was crazy over her.
A/N: See what I did there hehe. I just couldn't with the angst tho it was my first time trying this sort of thing. Idk how you all would feel about it
