Chapter 32

OST: Make it With you, Ben and Ben

A bright fall morning. Sun shining through the windows of the apartment. A sleeping beauty resting on her chest. It was all perfect for Jennie Kim. Their schedule today was to go to her parent's house today. It was nearing her anniversary with Jisoo. A whole year with the person she loves and she couldn't have been more happier. Today she wanted Jisoo to see her mom. It's been a long time since she had actually seen Jisoo and was like a second mom to her.

She lays there just gazing at her. Her thoughts of a happy life finally being achieved.

"mmhmm" Jisoo groans as she opens her eyes to the bright sunlight.

"Morning sleepy head" Jennie softly says as she kisses the top of Jisoo's forehead.

"Not yet" Jisoo manages to say as she buried her head into Jennie's chest trying to fall back asleep.

"We have a busy day baby. C'mon, let's wake up" Jennie told as she tried to get out of Jisoo's clutches.

"No, stay here," Jisoo mumbles as she wraps her arms around Jennie.

"Fine, you leave me no choice," Jennie says as she broke free from Jisoo's clutches and goes to the foot of the bed.

She grabs Jisoo's legs and starts pulling her off the bed. Was it childish? Yes, but did it get the job done? Of course, it did.

"You're unbelievable," Jisoo says finally awake.

"Ah my daughter you finally come visit me," Jennie's mom remarked as she saw Jennie and Jisoo pulling into the driveway.

"I miss you too mom" Jennie answers as she gets out of the car and gives her mom a hug.

"Nice to see you again mama Kim," Jisoo says as she also got out of the car to greet Jennie's mom.

"Wow Jisoo, look at you. You've changed so much my dear. Ah, you look so happy as well." Jennie's mom states as she cups Jisoo's cheeks.

"Thank you, Mama Kim. I've gotten better, you daughter gets all the credit" Jisoo joked as Mama Kim laughed.

They all head inside the house and had lunch together. It was nice for Jisoo to be able to talk to Jennie's mom. They used to be very close after Jisoo's parents had died. Jisoo treated her like another mother and would always be talking. After Jisoo started cutting people off from her life she found herself not talking at all and just close off. But this was refreshing and nice to catch up with her.

They talked about all the events that had happened since they had last talked. Their relationship, family, drama, and gossip because who doesn't like gossiping.

"Jennie, you know Choi's daughter? She got caught with drugs last week and she got turned in" Mama Kim exposed as she took a sip out of her wine.

"Mom, I know that. It was all the office was talking about yesterday. But did you hear, Choi was tried to bribe the judge and now he's going to jail too" Jennie exclaimed. Like mother like daughter.

Jisoo just listens to their gossip, she was never really the one to get into gossiping and more of listening. It makes for good stories to tell. And of course, she would always be in the know.

"So Jisoo, you've taken over the company of your father's right?" Jennie's mother averts the attention to Jisoo.

"Yeah, I have after getting my degree. It's going pretty strong right now. Opening another franchise too." Jisoo rambled as she tried to fit all of the things that have happened.

"Wow look at you missy. You've done a lot to get where you are Jisoo. When all those things happened to you over the years it looks as if you were going to lose yourself. I still worry about you dear to this day. I hope you can still keep in contact with me. After all, me and your mom were besties." Mama Kim expresses.

"Of course Mama Kim. A lot has happened over the years reflecting, revenge, and lots of support helped me get to where I am. I promise I'll message you whenever your daughter gets out of hand" Jisoo joked as both mama Kim and Jennie laugh.

After catching up with Mama Kim, Jisoo found herself to be a little more open. Less of a burden was on her shoulders. Less of a weight on her mind was lifted. She was getting there. Getting to inner peace with herself and others.

A/N: HAPPY ROSIE SOLO EVERYONE! I have it on loop right now and I honestly love it. Some people don't like it but honestly it's up to your preference but I personally love it. Oh and next chapter I think y'all would hate me hehe 🙃
