Adam Pov
I have been dating Y/n Y/l/n for over a year while long-distance dating. We dated for a year before she moved away from Minnesota. I face time her every night. Tomorrow she has a horse show in Edina. It's also her birthday. She doesn't know that I'm gonna go to her show as a surprise. Her parents know, and they are letting her come to my house afterward. I can't wait to surprise her.

The next morning
I wake up excited for today. I send her a long paragraph telling her how happy I am to be her boyfriend, and that I hope she has an amazing birthday. She sends back an equally long one thanking me. The show starts at 10:00 and it's already 8:30. I go downstairs and eat. Then I run upstairs to get a shower. Afterward, it's about 9:30. We leave and I immediately see her. I decide to wait until after to let her know that I'm here. I watch her while they do the walkthrough. She looks so beautiful with her horse. I watch as she competes in all of the events. I stand up and cheer for her when she does good. She ended up getting first or second place in every event. I go and wait for her at her trailer. She walks around the corner when she sees me. "Adam!" she screams as she comes running up to me. I pick her up and spin her around. "Hey Babygirl, " I mumble before I kiss her hard. She grins into the kiss. "Happy Birthday, " I say as I grab the bouquet of her favorite flowers. "Thank you so much, " she says as she kisses me again. "Your parents also said that you could stay at my house while you guys are here, " I say grinning. She just hugs me. I help her with her horse. After we go back to my house. "It's good to be back here, " she mumbles. I pick her up and run upstairs with her. She laughs as I put her on my bed. "Do you wanna take a shower together?" I ask quietly. She grins and pulls me to the bathroom. We undress as the water warms up. She steps in first then I do. I wrap my arms around her from behind. I start to kiss her neck as the water runs over us. She sighs and leans against me even more. We both do our normal shower routines. I step out first and start to dry off while she turns the water off. We both get dressed and go into my room. We decide to watch a movie before I pulled her next surprise for her birthday.

Y/n Pov
I grinned as I laid next to Adam. Today has been an amazing birthday, and I'm so glad that I got to see Adam. I start tracing shapes on his abs while he plays with the hem of his old hockey jersey that I'm wearing. He puts his hand on my thigh. I look up to see that his eyes have gotten darker and bluer. They always get like that when he gets turned on. They do it when we get showers together too. He looks at me and leans in...
