Imagine... Playing With A Baby In Front Of Him

I was visiting my cousin during holiday break and decided to bring y/n with me. We had been dating for a while now and she was staying with my family and I.

My family always visits my cousin during Christmas holiday and I thought it would be nice for y/n to meet more of my family.

We walked in and the first thing that I had noticed was my cousin had a baby in her arms. It was one of the cutest babies I had ever seen.

"Hello everyone! I'm sure you're wondering who this little one is," she said as we all nodded.

"This is Stephanie or Stephie for short."

I immediately saw y/n's face light up. If there's one thing y/n loved more than Quidditch or me, it was babies.

"Hey Amber, do you think it would be okay if y/n held Stephie?" I said. This caught y/n off guard as she pinched my arm to show that I shouldn't have asked.

"Of course she can. Come here, dear."

Y/n slowly walked over to Amber and glared at me in the process. She was a little shy when it came to meeting my family.

She sat on the floor and Amber placed Stephie in her lap. Y/n wrapped her arms around her and started rocking her back and forth.

"Alright everyone, why don't we show the new addition to the house?" Amber said as she, her husband, my parents, and I walked out of the room.

Now I'm sure you're thinking how could she leave her baby with a random person, but it's not like that with y/n. You don't have to be afraid around her and I knew for a fact Amber wouldn't just hand her off to anyone. She trusted y/n.

After Amber had shown us around her newly painted house, they walked into the kitchen to start making dinner with my parents.

I had walked back into the living room to see y/n smiling down at little Stephie. It immediately brought a smile to my face.

I didn't realize that it was possible for me to love her more than I already did, but she proved me wrong.

She was bouncing Stephie in her lap and talking to her about school and Quidditch. Even though Stephie didn't understand what she was saying, she was staring at y/n and giggling when y/n made silly faces.

I leaned against the wall and watched them with the biggest grin on my face.

I couldn't help but think about a future with y/n and what it would be like to have a family with her. She would be such a good mother I just know it.

I walked over to her and kissed her on top of her head.

She looked up at me, smiled, and looked back down at baby Stephie.

I sat down and wrapped my arms around her. I started making silly faces at Stephie just as y/n had done before. I could definitely get used to this.
