Imagine... He Cheats On You

I was hanging out in the common room reading a book when I decided it would be a good idea to surprise Oliver at his Quidditch practice.

I made my way over to the pitch and sat in the stands with a couple of other random people watching.

As he was in the middle of a practice drill, I noticed him wink and blow a kiss at one of the other players. I played it off thinking maybe he was joking with one of the boys until I looked over to see that it was Katie Bell.

I had had issues with her in the past because I knew that Oliver used to like her and I was convinced that she still liked him.

Upset, I immediately decided to leave the Quidditch stands and head back to the common room. As I was far enough away, I decided to look back. There, I was Oliver looking back at me questionably.

I guess he had noticed I was there.

*Time skip to a couple of days later*

I hadn't talked to Oliver in days. I was so pissed at him.

He kept trying to talk to me about it, but I would ignore him or the twins would stop him from approaching me. Fred, George, and Cedric were the only ones that knew what happened. Fred and George obviously saw at practice what had happened and I had told Cedric once he realized something was up.

Today the Gryffindor team was playing against Slytherin.

I was sitting in the stands with my friends wearing Oliver's spare jersey.

We were in the lead when Oliver blocks the quaffle that Marcus threw from going through the hoop. Katie Bell received it to score a point against Slytherin.

The Gryffindor stands roared and cheered. I screamed Oliver's name to show how much I supported him. But then I saw something that shocked me. Katie and Oliver flew toward each other and she placed a kiss on his lips. Oliver kissed back but pulled away shocked. I couldn't believe it.

I saw him look over at me and mouth the words "I'm sorry." I had had enough and stormed away out of the stands.

I didn't get far before Cedric had run up to me and pulled me into a huge hug. He didn't have to ask what was wrong, he already knew.

"Why don't we go back to the common room and get caught up on some school work? Maybe that will get your mind off of things," he said pulling away from me.

I nodded and we headed back to the Gryffindor common room.

After the Quidditch match, everyone had come back to the common room to celebrate their win.

Cedric had picked up his things to get ready to go back to the Hufflepuff common room. Before he could leave, Oliver had walked over. Cedric quickly gave me and hug and left.

I glared at Oliver and started to leave when he grabbed my arm.

"Look y/n... I never meant for it to get that far. I know you saw me blow her a kiss during practice the other day, but it was a joke I swear," he said running his hands through his hair. It was clear that he was stressed, but I didn't seem to care. He was pacing back and forth and waited impatiently for me to say something to him.

All I did was stare at him and raise an eyebrow.

"Katie took it too far, but I didn't want to embarrass her during the match. I'm sorry," he said looking down.

"Look Oliver I don't care if it would have embarrassed her or not. I'm your girlfriend and you should be doing those things with me not her. Whether it was a joke or not that doesn't make it okay," I said crossing my arms.

He looked away ashamed and looked back into my eyes. I could tell he felt sorry but I couldn't deal with this at the moment.

"I'm going to bed now. I need some space so please don't follow me around until I'm ready to talk," I said and walked up to my dorm before he could say another word.

That night, I think I cried more than I had ever cried in a long time.

*Time skip to a week from that event*

It had been a week since we talked.

There was a game against Hufflepuff, and while Oliver blocked the Quaffle from going through the hoop, he winked at me and blew a kiss.

"That was for you y/n! It's always for you!" He shouted. I'll admit I really missed talking to him and having things normal again.

We had decided to take a break for a few months to see how he really felt and if we could make this work another time.

Before the school year ended, he approached me while getting on the train.

"Y/n, this next school year, let's start all over. Please?" He said holding my hand gently.

How could I say no to him?
