Shifting slightly my sore muscles stretched unwillingly. My eyes were slow to open with my sight still slightly blurred. Swallowing dryly I tried to sit up. Large hands gripped my shoulders stopping me.
"You mustn't rise, you are unwell"
It's soothingly deep voice sending flashes of the previous nights events and my hands shot out pushing him away. Standing abruptly a wave of dizziness and nausea washing over me. Stumbling to the wall to catch my fall my eyes landed on the demon. It's clawed hands raised in an attempt at calming me. His stance strong but defensive. His tail whipped from side to side. My hands clutched the wall as another rush of dizziness hit me; sliding down the wall panic flooding my senses as I could no longer see. I kicked,punch, and scratched at him through my blindness, to little effect. His arms slithered around me picking me up cradling me for a moment, the coolness of his bare skin through his ripped clothes soothed the sudden rush of heat from my fever. Placing me back onto my bed my blindness began to eased, my sight soon back as it was when I awoke.
"What did you do to me!?" My accusation coming out rough and upsetting. He shook his head slowly as he drew back returning to his previous seat on the floor beside me reaching over into the water and ringing out a cloth placing it on my head. My hand rose to grab the cold cloth but he stopped me placing hand large hand over my own. Even though my eyes were still unfocused I glared at the dark mass beside me.
"Stop! What the hell! Don't touch me!"
I pulled at my hand but his grip didn't loosen. My fight didn't last long.
"I'm tired" I mumbled.
I hadn't realized I had said it out loud until the demon responded "You are unwell" he said before with drawing his touch from me. Laying down reluctantly I had soon come to the conclusion that he wouldn't kill me but the thought never fully left me. Exhaustion abruptly struck me and quickly I had succumb to it without a fight.I knew I was sick. Looking back there were sighs but than again hindsight is 20/20. Another dry couch shook me, the awful painful tearing sensation in my chest and stomach accompanied it. It has been nearly two days since I fell ill and so far the being has taken care of me for what reason I don't know.
During the day it had began sleeping, in the farthest corner of the room where it was darkest, it didn't seem to like the light but was unaffected by it. It also ate just like I did. It also wouldn't allow me to get up for any reason other than to eat and drink. So the normal bodily functions and bathing were a challenge; so far I hadn't been able to bathe at all but bathroom breaks were regularly taken during the day time.
Breathing deeply I calmed myself before I, for the hundredth time that night, adjusted aggressively trying to get somewhat comfortable in my heinous state. The demon came into the room at the slightest sound.
"The ill mustn't move" he spoke as he kelt down and adjusted my bedding trying in vain to help me get comfortable and to stop moving the furs frustratedly around. Slapping at his clawed hands irritatedly I finally laid down still uncomfortable from not just the unfixed blankets but my sticky smelly sweat covered skin. I scratched angrily all over for a minute as the dark figure loomed over me. I stopped scratching as an unwelcomed realization struck me, I need to bathe desperately but I couldn't physically do too much. The demon stood before turning to leave.
My hand shot out grabbing hold of what I thought was a tendril of ripped clothing to get its attention but as my fingers wrapped around it a horrible realization began to set in, it was in fact his tail. His head snapped towards me with a frightening expression. I opened my hand instinctively and just as quickly as it appeared it was gone and the usual monotone expression lay in its place on its face. Eyes still staring unblinking at me.
I retracted my hand slowly pulling it into my chest. I could feel my heart beating beneath my skin. The silent decision to bathe during the day was made.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sleepily turning over onto my back I opened my eyes groggily. Rubbing my face I sat up. My eyes glancing over to the hunched over sleeping demon in the corner of the room. As humanly quiet as positive I pushed the blankets back, pulling out my legs. My gaze shooting to the corner every few minutes as I stood and crept to my bags. Slowly unzipping a bag I pulled out a tank top and woman's shorts before grabbing my folded towel next to my bag and hurriedly left the room. With quick silent steps I made it to the washing area. My eyes stared at the dark speck of a being at the opposite end unblinking as I slipped off my T-shirt, sweat pants. Tossing them to the floor I took a breath as I tugged off my bra and panties, the warm air making my nipples tingle. My eyes fell back in his direction. No movement. I could see him perfectly from the bathroom; hurriedly scrubbing in shampoo being sure to be quiet. As I slowly poured the water over me I turned away, half heartedly rinsing my hair and body. My lungs felt tight and my heart beat was painfully hard; clutching my chest I slipped into the water and soaked for sometime, almost forgetting about the dominating being outside. An uncomfortable wave of dizziness and sexual arousal washed over me as I gripped the edge on the stone for support to stand. My legs trembled and promptly gave out causing me to splash back into the warm water. My hands reached out gently massaging my right foot, then ankle. Slowly moving its way upwards, my palm pressed down firmer as it came over my knee and to my thigh. Spreading my fingers around the underside of my thigh on either side I groaned at the sudden surge of pleasure. Pausing as the naughty thought slipped into my brain. It had been a long time, since the few days before my hiking date when I had last masterbated . It's been months since then... the thought was harshly forced down at the memory of that thing outside. Immediately I continued to massage the feeling back into my tired legs. Finally I stood from the stone seat, my breasts and hair dripping, I took a deep breath while stretching. I felt better, close to a hundred percent better, even.Turning around to get out I froze. A panicked gasp escaped my lips as I met a pair of shimmering golden eyes; an unspoken intensity within them causing me to shield my nakedness immediately. The dark demon was unmoving, unflinching, almost in a trance as he squatted by the edge of the pool. Gawking at my lewd wet body. I sank down to my shoulders, under his heavy gaze, into the water. We stayed like that for a moment longer than necessary, not a word spoken before he stood straight up and left the room. Giving it another minute before I hurriedly jumped out and dried myself off before snatching my tank top and shorts off the floor. Only then noticing I hadn't brought a new bra or underwear. Picking up my dirty bra and underwear I brought them to my nose and sniffed. The vile odour twisting my gut as I gaged hard, I dropped them to the side immediately needing to wash my hands. Note to self to never wear the same clothes all day and night for three days straight after sweating and getting dirty in them.
Tossing on my clothes I peeked out from the washroom to an empty common area. Stepping out wearily I pulled my damp towel around myself, although I was technically clothed the short shorts and tank top made me look much too revealing for my taste. Popping my head into each room as I made my way to my room my anxiety increased. Finally standing in the entry way to my room I spotted him, cross legged beside my newly made bed. Unlike his usual constant observing gaze it was now trained on the small piece of stone floor between him and my bed. Timidly taking my place on the opposite edge of the makeshift bed my eyes never left him.
"May words of my own be spoken?" His question was low, drenched in hesitation. I wasn't sure what he meant but I did know that I needed to get him to leave. I couldn't live like this.
"Al-alright"
A thick uneasy silence covered the room.
"I apologize for seeing you"
I stopped. My body frozen by the mix of confusion, shock and anger... my words gritted out through clenched teeth.
"So you could talk normally the whole time but didn't cause you didn't feel like it!?"
The demon shook his head.
"No I needed permission to talk freely. It is the way of our kind"
I stared at him a WTF consuming my expression. I brought my knees up and rested my tired head on them. A headache forming. Sighing I pulled the towel off me, not remembering about my current clothes and appearance, a cold chill seeping in from the dampness.
"Leave"
My voice was tired.
"What?" He sounded surprised but I didn't care. I had just been a sickly, horrible, uncomfortable and terrified mess for nearly three days for no reason at all.
"You heard me, leave! I don't want you here!"
I stood abruptly a spite of anger flaring.
"Please no! I can't leave! You've already accepted me!"
The arguing and pleading had gone back and forth for a few minutes before I yelled "I CANT TRUST YOU!! YOU'RE A MONSTER! A DEMON! NOW GET OUT!"
I pointed to the small tunnel to the door before crossing my arms over my chest. He stared at me for a moment before turning away acting as if he was a boy being disciplined by his mother. He turned towards the exit but not before dramatically dropping to his knees in a begging stance.
"I'll do anything! Please don't make me leave! I have nothing! No master, no home, nothing! All I have ever wanted was a master! Please! You can beat me, burn me, cut me open! Use me for whatever you need! Anything! I just can't go back to that hell!"He laid there crumpled on the ground large drops of gold liquid pouring from his eyes like sun coloured metallic tears. My heart went out for him...just barely.
"Alright just for tonight. But you are going to tell me everything"
He nodded his head furiously before standing following me into the next room.
