The Wedding!

Today was going to be the best day of a woman's life. Her wedding! I woke up this morning feeling extradinary. I knew that this was going to be one of my best days ever. Mom came in rollin' in a tray full of breakfast. 

Mom: Morning bride!

Me: Hey! 

Mom: I have your breakfast. Eat something before we go.

Me: Thank you.

Mom: For what?

Me: Everything. For making my dream come to life.

I gave mom a hug. Then Mom handed me a pretty necklace. 

Me: Mom this is so beauitful.

It was the most beautiful necklace ever. 

Mom: It grandma's mother's necklace. It may look new actually it's old. It's been in our family for generations.

Me: Did you wear it on your wedding day?

Mom: Yea, i did. It has brought me some luck. I figured it would for you too.

I gave her a hug. It was the best gift that i had ever gotten. I even felt a tear coming down both of our faces.

Mom: Well we should get you dressed and ready.

Me: (sniffs) yea.

I got up off the bed and started getting dressed. My dress looked beautiful on me. I was happy to finally getting married to someone i love dearly, and to have everyone their supporting me every step of the way.

Mom:  5 minutes people!

Tekeysia: You look so beautiful.

Me: Can i look in the mirror now!

Mom: No!

3 mintues later they were done with my makeup and my dress. All that was left was to put my veil on.

Mom: 2 minutes people!

Me: This is going to be the best day of my life. I'm so happy.

Mom: You look beautiful.

Me: Thank you mom!

Mom: I just wish your dad was here to see this. But he's in a better place now.

Me: I know.

I gave her a hug.

Mom: It's time!

Mom walked me out and music started playing. Everyone stood up and watch me walk down the aisle. I was excited; all i did was smile and look at Chris. I was happy enough. I got to the alter.

Rev: You may be seated

Everyone sat down.

Rev: Ladies and gentle, boys and girls; we are gathered today to bring together Latoya Wright and Christopher Brown. These two will now recite their vows to each other. Latoya you can start.
