You are now 16 and muichirou is 17 you have accepted your feelings that you like muichirou.....but you are still scared and nervous of confessing to him....you also changed your attitude....you somehow changed into....somewhat a bright person....that leads to getting along with everyone and being friends with more people!
You treat muichirou differently from other and everyone notices it too.... except....him...he is still that cold faced guy you met 3 years ago, he do show some emotions more often but is still blind and easily gets distracted
You still want him to take a hint though...but you don't know what to do.......

You hear a scream from your backyard,it's most likely to be mitsuri...
"Hello! Kanroji-san! What are you doing here?"
"Hey! I thought were going to call each other by our first name now!"

Mitsuri held you close and whispered to your ear

You blushed furiously as you moved Mitsuri away

As you talk a little more with Mitsuri, she was soon taken away with obanai and you both say your goodbyes then mitsuri's sentence came across your mind

But you still don't have enough confidence to do it....you just sighed in defeat as you prepare yourself and wear your beautiful kimono and got a gift because it's shinobu's birthday today, you at least have to be presentable....
While walking to the butterfly estate you
saw a young man staring into the sky with black hair with cyan tip- wait..... THAT'S MUICHIROU!, as long as you wanted to greet him since you admitted your feelings towards him, things never have been the same....you constantly avoid him and ignore him or you stutter when you talk to him and get all flustered and stuff....it's just been so awkward with him, you hoped he didn't see your actions as if you hate him or something because that's not the case....and you remembering all the times you both did while you still didn't noticed your feelings towards him, makes you wanna die in a hole in embarassment...you just casually ignore him again and just head to the butterfly estate as quickly as you can but before you know it someone grabs your wrist and stops you from walking and you already know who it is......it's muichirou...
You don't know how to face him properly so you just turn around and gave muichirou an awkward smile before parting your lips to talk "w-what is it t-tokito-kun?..." Ah yes.... you also got uncomfortable calling him in his first name because of your feelings again....he tightened his grip as you hiss slightly from the pain..."Y/N......why are you avoiding me?" You froze as those words came out of his mouth, you can't just tell him right away about your feelings....you have to make an excuse....but you don't wanna hurt him also..."i-its just-" you were cut out as a voice interrupted you...it was aoi
"HEY Y/N! YOU'RE COMING TO THE PARTY OR NOT?"
You immediately took your hands off his grasp "I'm sorry tokitou-kun but I gotta go to shinobu's birthday...." You whispered to him "alright aoi I'm coming!" You ran towards the butterfly estate as you left muichirou standing there sad and all alone.....you were selfish of your own feelings that your hurting someone....as you go on the butterfly estate you were welcomed warmly by the girls...a little sadness got away from you but you're discomfort of leaving muichirou there was still lingering inside you...throughout the party you didn't even enjoy because your mind was full of muichirou, muichirou, muichirou, all about he feels and how you should plan to invite him at the festival
Shinobu noticed that and decided to comfort you and hugged you to check what wrong...you answered honestly that it's all about muichirou and your feelings to him and all about you did to him...shinobu's eyes widened hearing that "now I know why you guys are being so distant to each other! The other pillars were curious too...because we have seen after that mission you and muichirou are close and we were happy because you guys are the same age and also youngest among the pillars that's why it's good to see you get along...but then one day you came back with your original selves and became even more distant than the start..." Shinobu exclaimed as you were shocked that they felt like that...now that's more reason to be guilty about...."how about you make up to him and invite him to the festival! It's nearing day by day!" You nodded in agreement and decided to face him tommorow.....
Tommorow you decided to talk to him after the pillar meeting but he just gone away and ignored you....you felt a pain in your heart like someone stabbed you....but you can't blame him since you did the same to him....'this must've what he felt when I ignored him..' as you realize things will never be the same again....
You go to your estate dissapointed from the answer you got....soon as you entered you were greeted by tanjiro and his crew
"Y/N-saaannn!! May I invite you to the festival? I really am lonely without a date..." Zenitsu said
"B-but you already have nezuko-chan...."
"O-oh right! I forgot" as zenitsu hugged tanjiro's box
Tanjiro looked pissed and uncomfortable but he shook it off "well Y/N-san are you coming?"
"Uhh.....I'm sorry but...I won't...."

"WHY? Y/N-SAN? WHY WOULD YOU LET THAT VERY VERY SPECIAL DAY GO AWAY?" Zenitsu screamed
"AHAHAH! OR YOURE A COWARD OF MANY PEOPLE!" inosuke added
Tanjiro sniffed something "Y/N-san....I smell sadness in you....what happened?"tanjiro said
"Ohhh....Y/N-san.....maybe because you don't have a date! That must be it! Well it's okay I can also go on a date wit-" tanjiro smacked zenitsu's head
"Uhh...its not that....really....but I guess I will come....since I have something to do there anyways..."you replied
"WOOHOO! Y/N-SAN IS COMING!!" Zenitsu shouted cheery
"Oh that means your doing something there Y/N-san?" Tanjiro said
"Yes, since i have been invited to perform on the festival stage..."
"Oh!oh! Y/N-San gonna dance for us? I'm so excited!"
"Well Y/N-san were happy you're going...me,zenitsu,and inosuke will go now bye!"
You waved your farewells to the group
