Gress: LET ME KILL YOU

Aegus: nooooo!

Achi: *appears out of nowhere* DONT

Gress: AAAH LET ME RUN

Me: uh. Okay. Sure. Not. This is perfect for a short story.

Also, dialogue isn't the exact same as the script btw

...

Come to me. With me, you can do anything...

That voice. It filled his head. Ingressus wanted to pull away, but the second his fingers touched the song, he couldn't move away. It took control over him, and he had no choice but to obey. He tried to fight against the Song, but it refused to leave.

Come...come...come...

Eventually, Ingressus gave in.

...

Earlier that day...

Ingressus smiled slightly as he lifted the Voltar, revealing himself as a Voltaris, with high hopes that the Ardoni were as kind and understanding as Aegus has said. But instead, he was denied the Prime Songs—even though he had won the tournament!

Ingressus growled, a deep hatred forming deep inside him. Immediately he knew that he had to get the Prime songs.

What he didn't know was that the Prime Songs were influencing him already.

...

Present time...

Ingressus knew he had to get the other three Primes. Quickly he set out for Mendoria's neighbour, Kaltaria.

...

A few hours later...

Ingressus cut through the village with his flaming sword. Screams rose from destruction, cries from a blade. Markings fading from bright yellow to a black that was blacker than the midnight sky(yea Ik there's still a little tinge of yellow left in there just pretend it's supposed to turn black).

He reached the last cave and burned down the wooden posts, storming into the room with the one he had grown up with for half his life, the Nestoris master, Aegus Nestoris. The master was holding the Agressium Prime, which beckoned Ingressus to touch it. Aegus set the Prime down and took out his staff. Ingressus charged, sending his sword down with a crash onto Aegus' staff. The two fought for a moment, but soon it became obvious that Ingressus was overpowering the master. He pushed Aegus across the cave and advanced onto him, sword drawn.

Ingressus scowled and said, voice dripping with venom, "The others are all dead, Aegus. Give me the final Prime Song, or you shall soon join them."

Aegus pushed himself into a sitting position. "W-what evil has corrupted you, Ingressus? I taught you better—I raised you better than this!" Ingressus growled.

"What you taught me was that the Ardoni was a forgiving species and that I might have had a chance to redeem my clan! But you were wrong, and I was wrong to believe you! The other clans are full of stubborn, resentful jerks who looked at me with hate...with disgust." Ingressus suddenly saw the Aggresium Prime and felt its power draw him closer. He walked over, transfixed.

Aegus said, out of breath and injured, "Ingressus...look around you. Look at what destruction you have caused. You grew up with these people—this was your clan."

Suddenly, Ingressus snapped. He realised what the Primes were doing to him, and looked around. He saw the bodies scattered around, the fires burning up the trees. He heard the cries and wails of despair, from those he once considered his family and friends. He staggered back in shock, fully awake and away from the Primes' powers...for now.

"Only now do I understand why. The Primes—"

Am Aggrobeam hit him, stopping him in his tracks. "Stop, Deathsinger!" a familiar voice called, filled with fury and fear. Achillean ran up and stood in front of Aegus, staff pointed at Ingressus.

Ingressus gasped and backed away. He tripped over a body—one of his best friends'—and turned and fled.

Achillean's voice haunted Ingressus the whole way to Mount Velgrin.

Stop, Deathsinger!

...

Years ago...

"Come on! Parry! Dodge!" Ingressus yelled. "Side blow! Kick! Dodge!"

Achillean panted for breath. "You know, Gress, I'm pretty sure you could kill really easily!"

Ingressus smiled. "Yeah, what did you think? All Voltaris, female or male, has to learn to fight when they're young. It's self-defence and we're all taught to not hesitated to kill if someone's attacking."

Achillean chuckled slightly and feigned worry. "Hey, Gress, if you someday become a crazy-evil-psycho, I'll just call you Deathsinger as a reminder not to be evil anymore!" The two laughed.

Who would have known how true those words turned out to be.

...

Present time...

Achillean carried an unconscious Aegus over to the medics. Hid feelings were all over the place; one part of him didn't want to fight his best friend, but the other part almost made him charge to Ingressus and shake sense into him.

"Achillean Nestoris?" a Mendoris nurse said, walking over.

"Y-yes?"

"Aegus is wounded but will survive. Although I can't say the same for the others..." She looked over at the bodies scattered on the floor. She shuddered and said, "Anyway, you should go to him now." Achillean nodded and went over to the master.

"Achillean. Here, take this," Aegus said, getting the Aggressium Prime out. Achillean quickly shook his head. "No, keep it. I won't take it." Aegus smiled in understand and pocketed the Song again. He sighed. "I just can't stand the death of my clan..."

It was then that Achillean made a resolve.

He would never kill his best friend, but the Deathsinger, murderer of the innocent? He wouldn't hesitate.

No matter what.

...

The end, I had to add that "deathsinger" part cus I love flashbacks

This is kinda short

Gimme some more ships that aren't Ardoni related or Niika x Lucan lmao
