The announcement

Its been 3 months since you started to sit with Clove. You've spoke to her everyday and saw her at trining. Even though you had only been training for 3 months you were second top of class. Just below Clove. You hadnt yet told her about your feelings but you were going to cone out to the group as gay toworrow. Today at training you were practicing knife throwing and you caught Clove starring at you. You turned around and blushed. You were to busy blushing you didnt even notice that you had gotten the new perfect score. Beating Clove at top in the class. But then Clove beat you again straight after with a smile on her face. You were so overly jeulous that you as calmy as you could said goodbye to the trainers and stormed out in a hurry. After 5 minutes of walking you hear foosteps behind you. Clove had caught up to you.

"What do you want Clove?" I said. "Why'd you walk out so quickly? I thought we were walking home together." She said. "I got a little jeulous." This past month me and Clove had been walking to school together. This made my intense love for Clove bloom further than i though. Clove and i have been hanging out everyday and it made me happy that i had friends. I just wanted to be more than friends with her. Being the cause of my jeulousness, Cato has been either flirting with Clove or thats how friends talk. I was in a daydream but Clove snapped me back to reality, "Why are you jeulous? You can easily beat me again."

Clove pov
"You shouldnt be jealous of me. You've got amazing skill. I just cant believe you got to the top of the glass in only 3 months. I've never been top of the glass and i've been training for years, your amazing and you shouldn't be jealous." Shit. I just said that. "Thanks Clove, your amazing too." She said. We continued to walk till we reached y/ns house and it looked nothing like mine. I lived in the rich part of district 2 and i had two stories. Y/n lived in a small but cozy shake. There were 4 seperate rooms. One was the kitchen and lounge, one for the bathroom and the others for her, and one for her mum. I stayed at her house for hours and we got along really well. Y/n asked "Do you want to sleepover. I've got some spare clothes." "Okay! Thank you." She showed me were the bathroom was so i coukd have a shower before bed. As i just got out she knocked on the door and told me to come out to the lounge room. The capitol has an important message for district two. I think i know what their talking about.

"HELLO DISTRICT TWO!" Shouted Ceaser. "PRESIDENT SNOW HAS AN INPORTANT MESSAGE. THIS YEAR DISTRICT TWO IT TOO GIVE TWO GIRLS FOR THEIR TRIBUTES. THIS WILL GIVE YOUR DOSTRICT A STEADING BALANCE, SINCE LAST YEAR TWO MEN WENT INTO THE AREANA INSTEAD OF ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN. AND NO VOLOUNTEERING! THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME, GOODNIGHT!"

"No no no no. That means any two girls can be picked. We could be picked. Your my best friend i cant loose you." I said. But i know that i want to be more. "I know roght. I dont want to loose you. You mean everything to me." Clove said. We locked eyes. Did she really mean that? "Really? You mean everything to me too." We hugged and went to sleep.
That night i dreamed that me and Clove got reaped. It was more of a nightmare, i had to watch Clove die. It killed me. At that moment i knew i loved her.
