I shoved him instantly as soon as he mentioned my name, I took a step back furthering our distance.
Who is this guy?
"Ash-"
"Don't call me that." I blurted at him. He gaped at me.
"Look, dude, I don't like hugging. Especially to a stranger" I said trying to be as cold as I could.
"Stranger?" The blonde asked.
I eyed him for a few seconds and raised my eyebrow. I never met him, never seen him in my life before. I don't even know his name.
"Yeah, sorry I don't know you." I said trying to be nice.
The guy scoffed and folded his arms, his eyes relaxed as soon as he took a step to me.
I wanted to move back but something made me want to stay put. I wanted to know what will he do next, I glared at him until he was just one step towards me. I looked up and met his eyes, he was so tall compared to me. Which I didn't like, I hate people who is taller than me, especially if we're the same age.
"Then let me introduced myself, again" He emphasized the word 'again' quickly.
I narrowed my eyes and waited for him to continue.
He raised his hand in front of mine, wanting me to shake it.
"Luke. Luke Hemmings" He finally said.
A look disbelieved covered my entire face. My eyes widened and I swear my heart almost burst. I gulped and tried to say something, just anything, but I couldn't. Either I was too shocked or
Happy.
"No" I covered my mouth.
"You're not L-luke" I stuttered his name, weird how it has been ages since I let myself said his name.
"I am. It's me Lukey" He smiled as his voice was raised from his excitement.
"Lukey?" My voice broke.
In front of me is Luke Hemmings, Lukey, My Lukey. The kid who was the only person I ever opened up to. It seems impossible how we could meet again. I thought I would never see him again.
I ran to his arms and hugged him as tight as I can. A single hug could give me this much happiness and joy. I tip toed as I tried to embrace him more.
"I can't believe it's you" I whispered to his ear.
He hugged me back but tighter, he muffled against my shoulder. He at last let go of my embrace and put both of his hands to my cheeks. I chuckled remembering the last time we said goodbye, I was the one who was doing this to him.
"Ashton, you came back." Luke said in happiness.
"You don't know how long I've been wanting to see you. All of these years" He said, he grasped my shoulders.
"You look, tiny." Luke examined my whole body. I punched him playfully.
"Shut up. You're the one who grew taller, you're a giant" I responded. He chuckled as he ruffled my hair.
"How long have you been here?" Luke asked in his Australian voice.
His voice was deep and husky, which makes it still hard to believe that Luke is standing in front of me. Luke looked so different, he used to be chubby and weak, now? That's the total opposite.
He hit puberty like a fucking truck.
"I moved back here a week ago, It's because of my Dad's job" I explained to him, his mouth made an 'O' and nodded. Luke's eyes then widens.
