𝐘/𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐆𝐎𝐉𝐎 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐑, shutting the doors with a thud. The h/c woman looked up, seeing her brother standing at the gates, a strained expression on his face. She sighed softly, hesitant to hear the news he was to present her about her mother. Gojo placed a hand on her lower back, slowly snapping her from her thoughts, and guided her up the stairs.
“Y/n, Satoru-san, I’m glad you both could make it,” Sho said, almost sadly as he bowed his head.
“How is she?” Y/n’s voice was quiet. Sho motioned for them to follow him.
“Still very weak. She’s been fully bedridden and is under watch 24/7. Her vitals have begun to drop, and her brain activity is beginning to slow,” Sho dropped his head, eyebrows furrowing together. “The doctors have given her less than a month.”
“What?!” She exclaimed. Y/n grabbed the wall and kicked her shoes off, making Sho stutter out her name as she bolted down the hall. Gojo grabbed his shoulder, and with one glance to another, they waited before following after her.
She slid the door open, startling the nurses inside. They soon recognized her and finished replacing the IV before standing. They bowed to her before exiting the room, slipping past her through the door. Y/n took a slow step inside and heard her mother’s voice call out.
“Dear, don’t be so hesitant around me. Come, sit beside me,” She said. The younger woman sat beside her mother on the ground, looking over her frail and thin body.
“Oi, Okaasan, you better give me that orange treat recipe,” Gojo walked in the room, shutting the door behind him.
“I’m not croaking just yet,” She chuckled wearily.
“Better not be anytime soon,” He teased playfully. “Who would I have to make Y/n show me some affection?”
“I wanted to speak with you two, about something very important,” She said, reaching for the blindfold that covered her eyes.
“What is it, Mama?” Y/n asked.
“I know about Rokuro,” She said, making the two younger adults tense. “You cannot hide it from me. My serpents are yours, and your cursed energy feeds off of mine.”
“You shouldn’t concern yourself with it,” Y/n said, lowering her head. “I’ll deal with it myself, there are other things, like getting better, you should be worrying about.”
“You still mourn Isamu,” Her mother stated, making Y/n’s eyes widen. “You hold that grudge against Rokuro for killing your child, and for that, I do not blame you. But you must forget about him, my child. The reason he keeps coming back is because of your hatred. His spirit is vengeful, against itself and you. He wishes for you to love him, and only him.”
“Never!” Y/n shouted. “I’ll never-”
“I know,” Her mother grabbed her hand, making the woman look up at her, meeting her mother’s pale e/c eyes. “So you must move on.”
“W-what…?”
“Don’t suggest that Okaasan,” Gojo sighed, rubbing a hand over his face.
“M-mama?”
“I’ve only ever wished to see one thing,” She said, her old lips turning into a smile. “And it’s to see my daughter marry the man she’s the happiest, and the most loved with.”
Y/n felt her eyes widen. She...she wasn’t suggesting what she thought...right? No, she couldn’t be.
“M-mama, don’t say it,” She whispered, voice shaking.
“For the love of God, don’t,” Gojo pleaded, his eyebrows straining together.
“My last wish is to see the two of you marry.”
The grip Y/n hand on her own arm was tight. Tight enough that Gojo grabbed her wrist and pried her hand away before she broke her own arm from her strength. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she screwed her eyes shut. He grabbed her and pulled her against his chest.
“W-why...why does that have to be what you want?!” She cried, grabbing the arm he wrapped around her chest.
“Please...Y/n…”
“We’ll do it, Okaasan,” Gojo said, kissing the side of Y/n’s head.
A smile graced her old features. “Thank you.”
…
“M-Married?”
Kugisaki looked at her teacher, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Itadori’s face broke out with a wide grin, and Fushiguro couldn’t help but smile either. The teen girl jumped up from her seat, grabbing Y/n’s hands.
“Let’s go shopping, Y/n-sensei!” She exclaimed.
“Y-You guys are way too excited by this,” She said uneasily, watching the teen girl bounce around the room happily.
“Do you know how long we’ve been rooting for this?!” Itadori yelled. “Fushiguro lost a bet to me!”
Y/n’s eye twitched in annoyance. “You put bets on us?”
“N-Nothing bad!” The teen chuckled nervously. “W-we all just thought you’d be cute together.”
“Not to mention you two are always running around together. We knew you were a couple!” Kugisaki said proudly.
“We never dated,” They replied in unison.
The three teens looked at them stupidly.
“Huh?” Fushiguro said.
“Y/n and I were never a couple,” Gojo said. “This marriage was arranged.”
“Arranged?! What is this, the feudal era?!” Kugisaki exclaimed.
“Arranged marriages are actually pretty common,” Fushiguro said. “It’s usually between two strong clans, and both Y/n-sensei and Gojo-sensei’s clans are obviously strong.”
“Yeah and this asshole is using it to his advantage!” Y/n barked, slapping his hand away. “Will you fuckin’ knock it off?!”
“Nope. You’re my wifey-chan now~!” He sang, wrapping his arms around her waist. “You’ll neeeeevvvveeerrr get rid of me!”
“I can easily kill you,” She deadpanned. “Put poison in your food, cyanide in your coffee since you drink it with almond milk. Inject insulin under your tongue.”
“Y-Y/n-sensei is scary!” Itadori said, Kugisaki nodding in agreement as they both hid behind Fushiguro.
Gojo chuckled and grabbed Y/n’s jaw tilting her head so he could whisper in her ear. “You wouldn’t survive without me, pretty girl. Admit it, you would never find another man that makes you come like I do.”
Her face turned bright red, despite her normal s/c skin, and she hurriedly shoved him away with a cry of embarrassment. She covered her mouth with wide eyes, making Gojo burst into laughter. The three teens hadn’t heard what was said, and they watched with confusion.
“Y-you fucking pervert!” She yelled, grabbing the nearest thing and chucked it at him. It happened to be a glass of water, but she only watched it bounce off the air around him as he continued to laugh.
“Don’t act like you don’t love it when I--”
“SATORU!”
