As my parents were talking to their old friends I just wanted time alone to think about.. well everything. What if some of the people here were... wolves but if so that would mean that there are some of our enemies around. Which I doubt. Pulling out my phone, I played my phone and listened to my favorite song lately. The A Team by Ed Sheeran. It felt right since I am daydreaming.
"Hey thats a good song. You okay?" I turn around to see Seth with his hands in his pockets and looking down at my crouching body as I stared at the beautifully green forest. I pause the song putting my phone in my back pocket about to stand up when Seth grabs my elbow and has one hand around my waist picking me up as if I was the weight of a pillow. "Thanks Seth." I smile at him as he smiles back at me and slowly lets go of me and places his hands back in his pockets. "No problem Layla." I don't know what is was but the way he said my name made me blush so I looked away embarrassed that he would notice. "Are you-Are you blushing?" he reached for my cheek and stroked it with the back of his hand that felt really no insanely warm. "Om my god why is your hand so hot?!" "I don't know I guess you could say I'm warm blooded." he smiled "lucky!" we both laughed at my comment. "Hey do you want to see something?" "yeah sure where is it at?" "In the forest c'mon you gotta see it." he reached his arm out for me to grab on to. Knowing that we would be safe I grabbed his arm and cuddled into his arm loving the warmth of his side and rested my head on the side of his arm since I couldn't reach his shoulder because he's like almost 6" and I'm just 5'10. He looked down at me and smiled and kept walking. "Are you cold?" he asked " A little but I want to see this place you're gonna show me. I'm fine" "Here take my jacket I'm actually starting to sweat." "Seth really I'm fine." He wouldn't listen and just wrapped his jacket around me and put his arm around me and kept leading us through the forest. His jacket was so warm. I put my arms through the jacket and wore it and even zipped it up "Not trying to sound whiny but are we there yet?" "Yes we're here take a look for yourself. The weather outside wasn't freezing but still pretty cold. Seth took me to an open field filled with wild flowers everywhere!
"This is so magical!" I said smiling and could feel Seth looking at me as he had his arm around me.
"I thought you would like it." He grabbed my hand and led me to the center of the flower field and picked a flower and gave it to me smiling .
"What's this place called?"
"I think it should be called ..... Laya's field." He began laughing because i started blushing like a fool. Why does he make me feel this way?
