Layla's P.O.V
"What do you want from me Alec?!"
"Nothing really. But I have been... obsserving you from a far and noticed, that you aren't like the other mutts, there's something more to you. My powers have no effect on you, you obey no one and yet, you are still a new pup and nothing phases or controls you. Why is that?"
"I don't know!"
"Oh dear Layla I know you don't know. But I do! you are a rare species of your own. you can... how do I say this in layman's term," I glared at Alec " You Layla are able to... adapt to anything."
"What do you mean by 'adapt'. Alec?"
"Well see, I don't know how far you can so we're just going to show the volturi if you are what we think."
"I am not going anywhere with you!"
"C'mon Layla! Where's your since of fun?"
"Fun?! with a bloodsucker?! No thanks!"
"Okay let's put it like this then, if you don't come with me, my bodyguard outside will kill all your little vunerable friends in an instant and not think twice about it. Or you can come with me back to the volturi and no one get's hurt. What do you say?" He reached for my hand but I refused and stood up on my own.
"Oh and don't worry I packed for you." Alec said as he placed a note probably explaining what was going on and to not follow or he would hurt me how? when his powers don't affect me.
"Alright love, let's go."
"Don't, call me love."
We snuck out and Alec made me leave my phone. Please don't notice Seth. Please.
Seth's P.O.V
The boys all jumped in but I was still waiting on Layla.
"Hey Seth, where's Layla?" Jake said with his arms over the edge of the pool looking at me smiling. But I felt like somethin was wrong
"I don't-" that when I caught the smell, that awful smell lingering in the house coming from upstaris and most importantly out of Layla's room
"Seth what's the matter bro?" Quil said worriedly looking at me
"We've got unwanted visitors that's what! Take a whiff!"
They all did at once.
"Bloodsuckers!" Leah said glaring at the house. The boys all got out of the pool and followed close behind me. I ran up the stairs and into Layla's room where the scent got stronger. When I reached the top, I was engulfed by the smell and a mix of Layla's with a hint of emotion in her scent, fear
Seth's P.O.V
I looked down on her bed and found a letter that wasn't my mates handwriting because it was in a old timey, handwritin' cursive.
'Dear mutts,
I have taken Layla and she is coming willingly. Please don't bother on following us unless you have a death wish,

I crumpled up the paper, turnigh furiously to face the boys and my worried looking sister behind me.
"HE HAS HER!!!" I punched that wall near me leaving an indent.
"Seth! who has her?!' Leah asked putting her hand on my back trying to soothe me.
"WHO DO YOU THINK! THAT BLOODSUCKER ALEC!" I walked down the stairs with everyone still following me.
"Seth where are you going?" Jacob asked. Why were they asking me such stupid questions?! It's starting to piss me off!!
