I Knew I Love You

CHAPTER 1: LALISA

Lalisa Manoban or Lisa is a smart 30 year old office employee. To be more specific, she is the current head of the Accounting department of her current job. She's half Thai and half Korean but she is not residing in either of the two countries. She is a very bubbly lady and everyone adores her. Her subordinates respect her not only because she is the boss but also because she is very considerate and humble.

Her mother, Karen Manoban, had her out of wedlock but soon married an engineer residing in the Philippines. Lisa was 5 years old then. You may wonder who is Lisa's father? Well he is Moon Jae Im.

Moon Jae Im, the chairman of Moon Group of Companies, owns chains of spas, restaurants and hotels and recently they bought the majority of shares of one of the big financial institutions in South Korea.

Though Lisa did not grow up with him, Jae Im made sure that his affection and love for Lisa is felt by the latter. He is a loving father and continuously try to communicate with her despite his family's protest. Lisa's mother is very thankful that her daughter did not harbor any bad feelings towards her father but still Lisa chose to use her mother's surname and her father showed no protest to it.

Financial support was not a problem thus Lisa was able to finished her studies in college with a degree in accountancy. This enabled her to land a good position in a financial institution in the Philippines. She also got her master's degree in financial management with flying colors.

Though not her biological father, Lisa is very close to his stepdad, Leandro. He's a great provider and treats Lisa as his own. The Thaikorean could not have it any other way and it breaks her heart at this very moment. Looking at her father, on his deathbed. Leandro suffered a massive stroke and the doctors said that they should be ready any moment.

One week after and they are in front of his tomb. Her mother was faintly sobbing beside her while she slowly rub her back. After an hour they decided to go back home. The mother and daughter were surprised when they arrived. A black car and two men wearing black suits are standing in front of their house.

LISA POV

"Ahm, hello, may I know who are you guys? I'm quite sure that I did not auditioned in the new Men in Black series." But the lame joke did not bother the two guards.

Lisa slowly drag her mother inside their house while keeping an eye to one of the men.

Once inside, they were greeted by a blonde lady. She was standing near their table where family pictures are located. The blonde lady carefully lift one of the pictures. The last family photo of Lisa, her mother and her demised stepdad.

"Excuse me but who are you? I will call the police. You're trespassing." Lisa said in an authoritative tone.

She jolted a little when the blonde woman spoke.

"You will not do that, you monkey."

Lisa was surprise to hear the familiar voice. Her eyes almost popped when the blonde turned to face them.

"Oooohhh! Byul! Is that really you hamster?!" By the sound of Lisa's scream, their neighbors might think that something happened. The sisters tightly embrace each other while Byul softly says her condolences. When they finally let go of their embrace Byul turned to Lisa's mother.

"Hi auntie, I'm so sorry for your loss." Byul said while holding Karen's hand.

"Thank you Byul. You should have told us that you will come. We could have fetch you at the airport."

"No worries auntie. Also, I know that you're tired because of the wake and burial of uncle Leandro."

"Make yourself at home Hammy. I will just change my clothes. Do you want something to eat?"

"It's okay Lisa Unnie. I ate before going here."

After a few minutes Lisa walked out of her room feeling a little more comfortable in her shorts and t-shirt.

"It's so good to see you Hammy." A grinning Lisa uttered as she sat beside Byul.

"Yeah. I'm also glad to be here. To see you again unnie."

Byul's tense expression did not escape from Lisa's eyes. The blonde keeps on fidgeting her fingers and tapping her foot. Lisa could not help it anymore...

"Hey Byul, you seemed tense. Is there any problem? Do not tell me...ohhhh! Oh my gosh, Byul! How many times did I tell you to be careful. I'm not ready to be an aunt."

The blonde's eyebrows almost became one and her eyes narrows after hearing Lisa.

"Huh?? What are you saying , monkey? I'm not pregnant you pabo. Fingers cannot make babies." she whispers the last words and slightly tap Lisa's head.

"Oh, yeah. I almost forgot. Sorry sorry little hammy. But anyway, I know something is bothering you. As your older sister, I'm just here if you want to talk to someone." She said reassuringly.

"Uh, that's very thoughtful of you unnie." The blonde took a deep breath.

"Lisa unnie, I do not how to start but here it goes. I'm here to tell..ah..no. I'm here to ask you something. Auntie, can you join us. I need to talk to you both." Byul tap Karen's shoulder before talking again.

"This is about dad."

Hello, this is my fist Jenlisa fanfic. But since I'm also a huge MoonSun fan, I will try my very best to create a story with these four characters. Hope you enjoy the first chapter. I will try to update this on a timely manner.
