It was another ordinary day for the sides. Logan was reading a book while sitting on the couch. Patton was in the kitchen making them all lunch. It had been quiet since everyone got done with breakfast. Usually it was loud after breakfast. Roman would be singing in his room as Logan got Thomas to clean the apartment. Which needed to be done. The chores couldn't go undone much longer. It was getting to be too much. It was making Virgil stressed and fueling Remus more now. But Logan couldn't handle it either. As he had a outburst towards Remus the day they tried to do all the chores. Which caused his eyes to turn orange out of anger. It had scared him a lot more than he thought it would. He couldn't let this happen. He couldn't let his dark side take over. He wouldn't go back to being Thomas's anger and taking it out on all the sides like he did when Thomas was an angsty teenager. But for some reason today was very quiet. It was too quiet for him and the moral side to handle. " Patton have you heard from Virgil or Roman since we all got done with breakfast?" Logan asked wondering if the light blue side had heard or seen from their creative or anxious counterparts since three hours ago. Patton just looked at him through the bar counter window and giggled. " No I haven't. I'm sure their fine and getting things done Logan. There shouldn't be a reason to worry just yet." Patton said hoping everything was okay and that the two weren't hurt or upset about something. Logan sighed nodding with what Patton said. They would just have to wait and see where they were when they appear later. Logan went back to his book after that but it still was on his mind.
But a few minutes later Patton and Logan heard yelling coming their way. Along with a door slamming open. Patton jumped at the noise and looked to see the most childish sight he's seen in a while. He started laughing as Roman ran through. Roman had ran into the mind palace holding his shield. He ran behind the couch getting ready for an attack on some sorts. He held his stance knowing it would be coming at any minute. This made Logan curious. He set down his book tilting his head to the side as he looked at Roman. Usually he's only seen the prince like this when battling a foe that was dangerous to them all or just playing in the imagination with the dragon witch and his fairy godmother. " What are you doing?" Logan asked wondering what his creative friend was doing right now. He was causing a lot of distress in the mind palace right now. As Patton was cooking. One loud noise and Patton could get hurt from burning or cutting his hand. Logan didn't want that. He loved Patton too much to see any harm come to the kindhearted side. Roman only giggled at the question. He thought Logan knew the answer. But turns out even the great Logan Logic Sanders needed explanations from time to time. " It's a war Logan." Roman said knowing that's what this was to him and Virgil right now. What they were doing was a war. Specifically a water gun war. But Logan didn't need to know that. Roman just wanted him to be confused before Virgil came in to get him. " What?" Logan asked confused by what the prince meant. As soon as he said that the purple cladded side came running in towards Princey water gun in hand.
Virgil was running full speed towards Roman as well. Which to Logan seemed like a hazard to them all. Especially when they had a sliding glass door beside the couch and the tv right now. Roman put his shield in front of his face. Virgil sprayed it at the shield. But he was really aiming at Roman's hair. Which takes hours to get this neat every morning. But Virgil didn't know that or need to know that. Same went for Logan and Patton. They didn't need to know the prince's secrets on how to look as fabulous as he does everyday. Virgil just laughed at that. Logan continued reading after that. He couldn't focus on it though. Neither could Patton. It was making Logan annoyed. Which wasn't good for him. He couldn't control his anger right now. Which wasn't good for him at all. He didn't want to hurt the other if he let his old self take control again. Especially after years of being a light side and thinking rationally about if he should keep it in check. For his sake. For his family's sake. Also for Thomas's sake as well. But this would probably go on for hours. Seeing as the two were bored and had nothing else to do.
As the two sides continued though Patton was finding it hard to focus. So was Logan. The noise was a lot for them. Roman ran into the kitchen as Virgil shot water at him. The prince bumped into Patton who was grabbing the rolls from the oven. Patton had been pushed into the oven causing his hand to touch the rack and burn it in order to catch himself. The moral side yelped in pain from this. He got out of the oven with help from Virgil who was pushed away by an angry Logan. " Enough!" Logan yelled finding this behavior unacceptable and out of line for his two friends. His eyes glowed orange as he yelled the word. The other two got scared. They had never seen Logan like this before. It caused them to run back to their rooms in fear and hide there. Logan snapped out of it after a few minutes. He was ashamed by what he had done to his creative and anxious counterparts. He knew he had to apologize but he needed to go calm down first. He told Patton where he would be if he needed him and where the burn cream and bandages were. Patton thanked him and went to get them. Logan went to his room and locked himself inside. He didn't want this to keep happening. Yet it was. He didn't know why or how. It just was. He needed find a way to stop it. He sighed and laid down hoping some sleep would help him. He just hoped things would get better from here. If they ever did.
