Chap 19

Badhri Pov.

"She might not be our Mitu" Cheliyan uncle's voice was kept echoing in my mind. How could I clear this doubt, she doesn't seem to remember anything from the past.

Inba was the only person who keeps on saying that she is our Mitu from day one but how can we prove it. Even uncle not sure why he having this doubt. I felt everyone seems to doubt her and the doctor.

Everyone sat for breakfast, it was few days after hearing our story. Everyone was having breakfast and suddenly Indu stood up and started shouting with tears " I am not sure who I am, I know myself only as Indu if you want me to be Mitu I can't, I don't even remember my mother face."

"Just stop with all your fuvking thought and doubts about me it's overwhelming and I can't take it anymore it's so painful" she completed with a sob.

"You can read our minds," the uncle asked. She looked at him with anger.

"Why? you want to accuse that I read your mind and making up a drama to justify my memory loss" she shouted.

"Appa it's enough with all these things please she is suffering" Ezhil argued with his father.

"Even if no one believes I assure you are my Mitu, even though you don't remember her I love you as Indu even better, please don't cry," Inba said hugging and consoling her.

I can't stand this sight so I prepared to leave.

"I may not be Mithula but don't you think I am your mate Mr. Alpha, of all the people you should be the one consoling me but you want to have Mitu back," she said weeping.

I can't stand this anymore, I picked her up and ran to our hideout. I put her down and hugged her immediately.

"Sorry for what I did earlier, I really don't mind who you are but was just thinking why uncle said like that, also everyone has a reason to see Mitu back so uncle saying you do not make them feel sad"

"Why no one realizes that your mood affecting me and it's painful for me," she said tears falling.

I hugged her tightly "Even with or without the memory I love you the most the one person because of whom I still alive and the one person who I can live like this animal even till death"

"This is the first time I hear you say something like this," she said with a smile on her still teary face.

I wiped the tear off her face and started admiring her beautiful facial features. Soon my senses are filled with her. Sweet scent, the sound of her soft breath as music, soft skin under my grip, capturing every inch of her face with my eyes which finally landed on her red lips.

Without any delay, I treated my taste buds too by capturing her sweet lips with mine. She responded in no time, and what started as a sweet kiss escalated to a sensual one.

She is not moving away or trying to fight or bothered by my hairy body anymore. She is totally in love with me for what I am and I can't thank moon goddess enough for giving her to me.

Indu or Mitu doesn't matter anymore, what matters is she is my mate and I can't get enough of her for a lifetime.

We parted for air and she seems to be drunken either by the kiss or my scent. The dreamy drunken eyes are inviting me to have more.

I started to kiss her again passionately and without breaking the kiss I lifted her and she encircled her hand around my neck pulling us even closer.

Before this escalates into something please stop, I don't want to hurt our mate again, my wolf warned me and I suddenly stopped, which made her groan. It was the first time I hear her groan that sounded rather cute. 

"It seems someone is not happy that we parted" I teased her making her blush. "Yeah my Wolfy girl wants more I guess" she replied shyly and buried her face in my shoulder.

We stayed in each other's embrace for some time and my stupid self realized something and ruined the entire moment. "Can you ask your wolf if she knows something about your past" 

She let go of her hold and released herself from my hold "Still you wanted to know what happened to your Mitu seriously you guys are obsessed with your wolfy life" 

Saying this she stormed out of the room leaving me behind. What a loser I am, a few minutes back I said past doesn't matter and I ask her the same question ⁉️

I tried to follow her, but Inba came from nowhere, he got her before me.

"What happened did he hurt you, why are you crying?" 

She kept crying, "It's ok we can go back and talk later" he consoled her and signaled me to follow. They were walking slowly ahead of me and I followed them keeping a safe distance.

"You say you know it was me from day one but you didn't ask what happened in my past till now, are you not curious to know what happened to your Mitu like others," Indu asked.

"I know it was you but I didn't want to you face the pain we all faced by making you remember anything about it, also I am not sure why everyone thinks they can find something from your story" he gave out a big sigh.

"Leave that, tell me can you read our mind, if yes you can also know what dirty thoughts we think right," he asked with concern.

"I can't read anyone's mind, but I can sense others' emotions. So don't worry I will not read your dirty mind" she said with a faint smile. 

When we were near the house Inba mind linked us to inform everyone not to think of Mitu or the past. 'Indu needs some time and we have to give her that, please don't make the same mistake. We can't lose Indu like Mitu.'

I can understand Inba and Indu are clear in one thing that Indu and Mitu are two different people. We are not going to get our Mitu who we have lost long back. We may have found the soul of Mitu in the form of Indu but nothing in Indu can be related to Mitu.

Remembering the past will only make her suffer for all our loss including her parents. I being her mate should be the one to understand her better and stood by her, it's not too late for that.

We have to check any other options if we wanted to know the past or we can continue with our life without knowing anything. I choose the second option so we will not hurt Indu anymore. 

On reaching the house I declared in front of everyone "we are not going to discuss anything related to Mitu, she is gone for good. We have here Indu she is my mate our Luna, we take her as who she is."

"We lost Mitu it's our fault and we can't hurt Indu for that, I hope everyone can understand and accept this," I said looking at everyone expectedly.

"What if it's not your fault and it's her parents who decided to take her away from you, what if there is a group of evil people awaiting to capture each one of you the hybrids including Indu"

"What if they can attack you anytime and everyone living here is in danger, do you still decide to not know what happened," the strange doctor asked me.

"Doctor whatever the reason is we can face all this without knowing the past, we survived without our parents for a decade and we got through so many things"

"We will find out the evil people but still decided not to hurt my mate and my pack will agree with me I believe" I replied.

Yes, my pack members said and this is the first time I am feeling more responsible as alpha of a pack and I have to protect them at any cost including my precious mate. 

"You are already hiding under the mask and surrounded by liars, you can never protect my Indu." the doctor said firmly.

What is he even saying, my Wolf is getting angry but part of me feels that is true.
