Indu

It's already been 6 months since Badhri came back, and still no sign of his wolf, my proximity is not doing any difference to bring him back. We are not losing hope but I miss him so much.

And there is one thing I have not yet shared with him I always have this mental debate about whether I should share this or not but today I decided to share it.

I am taking him to the rose garden and am still hesitant to start.

"You can share anything with me please don't hesitate" his words gave me some confidence and I started.

It was the time when I was alone in the woods with you not beside me.

3rd Person

'I started to like solitude, living in the small cave surrounded by a rose garden and beautiful falls helped me ease the pain of missing my mate. I want the comfort of my mate, his smell his embrace, and his care'. Indu thought to herself. With all the things that happened in the past year we never really had the chance to enjoy our togetherness.

She used this time to bond with her Wolf, her wolf taught her some survival skills and she learned to be a werewolf for the first time. Though Deva made sure to send some food items for her every two weeks she liked to survive on her own.

Surviving the wild and waiting to meet her mate again was her motive in life. Badri was on her mind most of the time and during the full moon time of the month her emotions are at their peak and she felt that the pain in her heart was killing her slowly. She then decided to do the full moon and new moon ritual religiously. It helped her to calm her aching heart a little, Once the ritual is over she enjoys a nice cup of tea looking at the sky hoping somewhere her mate might be alive and thinking of her.

Its already been a few months of her living alone in the forest. Her admiration for the forest still not diminished, she felt that she is surviving because of the magnificence of nature and the butterflies always circling her.

It was one afternoon after the new moon day, she is recovering from her emotional spike of that night, Thulasi and Kitu visited her knowing her state, and brought her some food as well. They knew she might not be eating anything.

They were sad looking at Indu's state and Kitu couldn't stop herself from hugging her best friend and letting out her tears. Indu just consoled her friend, she never cried but her pain eased with the comforting hug of her friend and litter mate.

"I told you guys not to come here, and feel sad for me" Indu tried her best to showcase an angry Luna to avoid their pity eyes.

"We know how you behave but we wanted to check on you for our peace of mind and also wanted to give you these" Thulasi said and handed her a bag. Indu rummages through the bag and found a photo album.

She sat on one of the rocks and motioned her visitors to sit beside her, once they are comfortable she opened the album and found photos of a few people with their children. "Are these our parents?" Indu asked surprised.

"Yes, that doctor had these albums with him, he even had photos of Thulasi's mother not sure how long he was plotting the betrayal" Kitu

Indu's face darkened hearing the words of Kitu, Thulasi noticed it and nudged Kitu to stop.

"It is really strange to think how love for a person can turn into an obsession, he was even planning to make me live with him," Indu said thinking how horrible it might be.

"I can't blame him, look you completely resemble your mother," Kitu said pointing to a picture of Induja and Vendhan smiling happily at the camera holding little Indu. Seeing her parents' picture for the first time bought a smile to Indu's face. She flipped through the page Kitu pointed out Badhri, his father holding him and his mother standing next to them holding Swara, and an old woman seated beside them holding Inba in her lap.
