After Philip left Elizabeth got up and went to the wardrobe she gasped at the sight of all the dresses. Finally she picked a simple navy blue cotton with little flowers embroidery on the sleeves. Then she had a thought about escape and dashed onto the balcony. As she looked down she realized that there were ten guards stationed below her staring back at her some were even waving. So she just huffed and opened the door to the hallway where five guards pointed swords at her. She let put a terrified squeak and as she backed back in the room one of the guards said
"Sorry miss, we were told you were an escape hazard and not to let you dash past us. We thought you were trying to escape."
Elizabeth just nodded at that and asked "Am I aloud to go eat breakfast?"
The soldier nodded and started to walk so she followed and she had one soldier beside her two in front and two behind. As she hiked down the stairs she asked two questions to the soldier that talked to her earlier
"What's your name and do I really look like a escape hazard?"
He thought about the questions carefully she could see that on his face finally he answered saying
"Well my name is Victor James and you don't look like a escape hazard but there is a fighting spirit in you."
Just as he finished they stopped in front of a door and Victor opened it for her. As she stepped through the door she walked over and sat down on a chair at the grand oak table after a few minutes Philip walked in followed by a serving girl hold a tray of small cakes and tea. When Philip saw her his face lit up at how beautiful she was in her simple dress and blonde hair. They ate in silence until Elizabeth asked a question
"Are my uh captors still alive?"
"Yes they will rot in the dungeons until they die unless you want me to have them hang for their crimes against you but I think rotting is much more painful."
"Can I see them?"
"You can after you go to the fair with my little sister Bella."
Elizabeth just smiled and nodded she was secretly happy to be able to leave the castle.
