Chapter Twelve

*Lilly's P.O.V*

I agreed that I would share a room with Spencer since Morgan didn't want to share a room with him. I got that. As we got to the hotel Spencer went to get the card key. I stood in the middle of the lobby waiting for him. As soon as he got the key, he handed me mine and we went to the elevator. We got in and the ride up to our room was full of silence. Soon we heard the ding and Spencer let me out first. I walked out and found our room. I put in the key and the door opened. I walk in and set my stuff beside one of the beds. Spencer did the same. I open my suitcase and took out my book Don't Turn-Around.

"You should get some rest," He says.

"I'm not tired," I mumbled. I could feel his eyes on me as I read my book.

"Lilly, can we please talk about how she knows me?" He asks me. I sigh. I put my book back in my back and looked at him. After a long period of silence, I spoke up.

"You going to tell me? Or am I going to have to wait?" I asked him.

"Oh," He says. I smile. He told me everything. How they met. To how he had to watch over her. To him getting pulled into her pool. And to her kissing him. Yes, I was a bit jealous, but I had to hide it. He told me how Maggie holds then gunpoint in Lila's house but he took her down. "And that is how I met Lila." All I could do was smile.

"Well you were very brave, Spencer," I say.

"You gotta be on this job," He says. I smile. I looked at the time it was almost midnight.

"OK, how come every time I look at the clock it's midnight," I say getting up. Spencer smiles. I got out my PJs and went to the bathroom to change. As I came out I saw Spencer was already in his boxers and his bed.

"Hey," He says.

"Hi," I said getting in bed. Soon I turned off the lights.

"Night Dr.Genius," I say.

"Night cupcake," He says. I smile at the nickname. As my head hit the pillow, I was out like a light.

*Next day*

*Lilly's P.O.V*

I woke up the next morning, to see Spencer still sleeping. I got up changed into a pink top, ripped jeans, red and white converses, my messenger bag, I also put on my necklace that looks like a bottle cap. I curled my hair and put on some pink lipstick. I went into the kitchen and put on the kettle. I got a bowl and some cereal and milk. I poured both into the bowl. Then I heard the kettle going. I got a cup and poured the hot water into the cup. I poured some milk and cream into it and stirred. I took it over to my cereal and started eating it. Soon I heard Spencer get up. He came into the kitchen with only his pants on.

"Spencer, get a T-Shirt on. Nobody wants to see that," I joked. He smiled.

"Ha-ha very funny cupcake," He says getting a bowl and the milk and cereal. "For that, I'm going to eat without my shirt on." I knew he was kidding.

"Nope I am not staying in here," I teased going into the living room. Before I did he grabbed my waist pulling me back. "Spencer." He smiles. He lets go of me and I go into the bedroom. I grabbed one of his T-shirts. I come back in.

"Dr. Genius, catch," I say. I threw the T-shirt at him. He catches it and puts it on. Soon we finished eating. We put the bowls in the sink. I get my key card and we left. I walked over to Morgan's door and started knocking on it. He opens it.

"What is it?" He asked me.

"We have to go. Your driving," I say. We waited for Morgan, but he finally came. We got into the elevator and went to the lobby. Soon the elevator doors opened. We all walked out. We saw that the other SUV was gone. Hotch, Rossi and J.J must have left. We all jumped in. Spencer wanted to go in the back to I sat in front with Morgan. Soon we got back to the police station. We walked in.

"OK since everyone is here, let's go over the information that we have so far," Hotch says.

OK so they were all blonde and had blue eyes in common," Rossi says. Spencer, Morgan and I sat down.

"They were all actresses and rich. Lilly and Spencer think the unsub must have dated someone who was like these women," Morgan says.

"the woman that left this guy was hurting her, and when she left, that is when the anger poured out of him. Somebody he loved. And now he is trying to find his lost love and when he doesn't go right. He strangles and shoots them," Spencer says.

"Guys I think I figured out what the unsub wants," I say.

"Well, what is it?" J.J says.

"I think the unsub wants the attention. Like if you look at it they were famous, and when that information got out the press was there immediately. I think he is warning the girl that broke his heart, that he is coming," I say. Soon J.J's phone rang.

"Lilly has a point," Morgan says. She finally got off the phone.

"Guys, Jennifer's body had just been found," J.J says.

"OK, Lilly and I will go to the crime scene, while you guys build a little more on the profile," Hotch says. They all nod. I get up and walked out with Hotch. We get into the SUV. Hotch was driving. Soon we had a conversation going. And then out of the blue Hotch said something that I only thought Morgan and J.J knew.

"I know you like Spencer," He says. I looked at him.
