"Hey, pretty boy. Wait what's wrong?" Morgan asked me. I looked at him.

"Nothing," I lied. But Morgan could see right through it.

"Come on I know your lying," He says. I looked at him.

"OK, so I forgot my messenger bag in the conference room. I was going back to get it when I overheard Lilly and Garcia talking," I say. He looks at me. Soon I heard a voice.

"Spencer," The voice said. I slowly turned to see Lilly standing there. She handed me my messenger bag. "You forgot this. And aren't you suppose to be interviewing the families?" I nodded. She smiled and left. I turned back to Morgan.

"Don't worry. Hotch and Rossi wanted to interview the families so we can start on the profile, but what happened?" He asked me. I looked at him.

"I overheard that Lilly has a crush on a guy," I say. He looks at me. Not in shock or surprise. "I also heard that her boyfriend got shot because of her." His perky little smile faded.

"Adam died?" He asked me. I looked at him.

"How do you know him?" I asked him.

"He was a criminal. Long story short Lilly was undercover and told him who she really was and he told her he was going to help him," He says.

"And you have gotten to meet Adam?" I asked him. He nods.

"Spence, for one thing. Give her time to tell you the whole story on Adam, and as for the crush thing. Encourage her to tell him," He says.

"But I like her though," I say.

"And that is the best part," He says. "I gotta go to the crime scene." I was so confused. I walked into the conference room to see Garcia went to her lair and it was just Lilly and me.

"Hey, Dr. Einstein. I thought you had to go interview the families?" She asked me, once she saw me walk in.

"Hotch and Rossi wanted to do it, so Hotch put me on the profile," I say. She looks at me.

"Is something bothering you?" She asked me.

*Lilly's P.O.V*

I looked back to see Spencer wanted in.

"Hey, Dr. Einstein. I thought you had to go interview the families?" She asked me.

"Hotch and Rossi wanted to do it, so Hotch put me on the profile," He says. I looked at him. I knew something was bothering him.

"Is something bothering you?" I asked him. He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Can we not talk about it now?" He asked me. I nodded. I looked back at the whiteboard.

"I don't get it," I say.

"What?" He asked me.

"What connects these kids. They are all from the ages three to five. Why would someone want a kid so young?" I asked him.

"Maybe someone lost a kid at that age," Spencer said, guessing. I looked at him.

"What?"

"Spencer we are just one step closer. I get it now. This unsub takes these kids and makes them act like their kid that they have lost," I say.

"And when it doesn't turn out right, the unsub kills them," He says I nod.

"OK. Let's look at how this unsub kills them," I say. I looked at the pictures. "A shot to the head."

"Painless," He says.

"The unsub doesn't want them to suffer, so maybe this kid of theirs must have died painless," I say.

"How did you get so smart?" He asked me.

"Genius duh," I say. He smiles. We went back to the board. Oh god. I wanted to tell him so bad. But I knew I would be shy at telling him. "Spencer." He looked at me.

"Yes Lilly," He says.

"OK so there is this guy I really like, but I only dated like one guy, and I am scared I will mess it up with him. We are best friends. What should I do?" I asked him. He licked his lips.

"Tell him. He needs to know," Spencer says. I took a breath.

"Spencer I-" I said, but I was cut off when Morgan ran in cutting us off.

"-Guys, Johnny's body had just been found," He says. Hotch and the rest of the team walked in.

"Reid, Armstrong go to the crime scene. We can finish up the profile. What have you got so far?" Hotch asked us.

"Well we saw that the unsub is shooting them in the head which means it is painless, but we also think the unsub must have lost a child around the ages three to five," I say.

"Well we can figure out the rest," Hotch says. I nod. Soon Spencer and I left. We jumped into the SUV with Spencer driving. It was quiet since the crime scene was an hour away. Throughout the car ride, Spencer spoke up.

"So what were you going to tell me back that? Before Morgan cut us off?" He asked me.

"Nothing," I say. Soon Spencer slams on the brakes.

"It's not nothing. I know it. Your lying to me," He says. He really knew when I was lying to him or not.

"No, I'm not. Spencer goes," I say. He went, but not for long. He pulled over.

"Tell me," He says.

"No," I say.

"We are not moving until you tell me," He says.

"Fine," I said getting out of the SUV. Soon I heard Spencer getting out.

"WHERE ARE YOU GOING!" He yelled.

"WALKING TO THE CRIME SCENE! DOING WHAT MY BOSS SAYS!" I yell back still walking. Soon someone grabbed my arm and I turned. It was Spencer.

"Tell me," He says.

"No. It's nothing anyway. It was...Something stupid," I replied. Soon he lets go of my arm and I walk back to the car. Finally, he comes and he gets in.

"I know it's not nothing, and in your eyes, it's not stupid," He said starting up the car.

Yeah, your right Spencer.

It's not stupid.

Your not stupid Spencer.

I am.

I like you.
