[5 Days Later]

After clarifying details with Saya, her family, and detectives, Daichi finally reached out to Megumi and spoke on the phone with her and Kita. He explained that Saya was as well as she could be given the circumstances, but was understandably still distraught. The plan is for her to return to Hyogo and resume her life there under her alias, as from what they can tell so far her stalker has no idea she is there. They will, however, increase police presence around the town to keep an eye out for odd behavior.

Daichi was unable to provide them with an exact day yet, as Saya was still spending much needed time with her family. He explained to them that Saya was still processing a lot, and to please not take any offense by her not reaching out to them. Megumi assured Daichi they would never think that, and understood completely that she needed time.

Daichi asked if there is anything else they would like to know. Megumi said she was all set. But Kita spoke. He did not ask any questions, rather provided Daichi some information. Kita told him to make sure Saya is drinking enough water because she forgets a lot during the Day, and to please make sure she is eating more than just desserts. He also told Daichi that Saya should be getting her period in two to three days, and to make sure there was a heating pad at the hotel and chamomile tea because those gave her the most relief from her discomfort.

Back in the hotel room, Saya was laying on the bed in her pajamas, sipping a glass of wine while Koushi was finishing her shower.

Today, she was allowed to see some of her good friends from Karasuno. No one besides her family was supposed to know about her being found, however when Koushi had found out she was found, before they had realized the severity surrounding the case, he messaged their mutual friends and told them.

Tsukishima Kei, Yamaguchi Tadashi, and Hinata Shoyo all visited the hotel today to see Saya. Her friend, Kageyama Tobio, was unable to visit but was set up via Zoom so he could talk to her as well while they were there. She did not go into the details of the case at all with them, but was excited to get to see them and talk and laugh with them after shedding many tears.

They all understood they could tell no one else that Saya was alive, and did not stay at the hotel long. But, it was enough to cheer Saya up and make her start to feel like her normal self again.

Saya had yet to talk with Kita, Megumi, and Kenji, but knew that Daichi was in touch with them and letting them know how she was doing. She just couldn't bring herself to talk to them yet, as horrible as she felt about the situation. But mentally, that was beyond what she could take.

Koushi opened the bathroom door and flopped on the bed next to Saya, who laughed in response and finished her glass of wine as she put the glass on the nightstand. Koushi smiled as he watched her. Inside, he was sad that in the end she would have to return to Hyogo, that she would leave him again. But, he knew it was necessary for her safety until they found out who was after her; and that it was necessary for her mental health. He knew she needed to be with Kita.

Koushi didn't know Kita super well as he had only met him while their high schools versed each other in volleyball. But, he could tell he was a responsible and kind person, someone who his sister would be safe with. Saya hadn't told Koushi too much about her relationship besides how they met, their first kiss, and how she lived with him. But, being her big brother, he wanted to know more.

Koushi sat up in the bed and reached over Saya and took the empty glass and the bottle of wine. He poured some for himself and took a sip as he spoke, "Soo are you excited to go back to Hyogo soon?"

Saya sat up in the bed and leaned against the pillows and nodded, "I am, I am excited to see my friends I made there and go back to the bakery."

Koushi swirled around the wine in the glass as he looked at her, "But you're most excited to see Kita, right~?" He teased.
