[Next Day]

Saya woke up late the next morning to the feeling of Koushi and Daichi dog piling her and wishing her a happy birthday again. She laughed and pushed them off and sat up, stretching and smelling a heavenly scent. Koushi scooped her up in his arms, informing her birthday girls are not allowed to walk, and carried her into the kitchen. Her eyes widened as she looked at the table, seeing that Yamaguchi, Kita, and Osamu had made a wide arrangement of food: pancakes with sprinkles, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausages, grilled mackerel, rice, miso soup, and fresh cut fruit.

Koushi sat her down on a chair and placed a birthday Tiara on her head as he sat down. Kita sat beside her and kissed her on the cheek, wishing her a happy birthday with a smile, while Osamu loaded her plate with food. She enjoyed breakfast with them all, laughing when Osamu stabbed at Daichi's hand with his chopsticks when he tried to take the last slice of bacon.

When they all finished eating everyone cleared the table, not allowing Saya to help as it was "her day." When they finished Kita scooped her up and carried her upstairs where he dressed them for the day while everyone else got dressed downstairs. When they were done and all left the house and walked over to the barn to play with the piglets and baby goats while Kita and Koushi let them all out into the pasture. They spent the late morning and early afternoon lazing around the farm in the warm June air, playing with Toshi and the animals while playing in the sun.

As it got later in the day Daichi and Koushi said they were leaving to go shopping for her birthday- in reality they were going to Sato's Sweets, where Kenji and Megumi were already setting up for the party. Osamu left shortly after saying he had to do some prep work at the shop, taking Yamaguchi with him to see the shop- really going to meet them as well to get ready and help set up.

About thirty minutes later Kita and Yumie said they had to leave to make a last minute delivery and that Yumie wanted to join him for the ride. Saya sat on the steps of the porch with an officer while she watched Kita drive the truck down the path and out of the farm, knowing they were going to set up for her party. She got up and excused herself, heading excitedly up to her bedroom to take a nap before it started.

[1 ½ Hours Later]

Megumi and Kenji rushed around the kitchen of Sato's Sweets with Osamu while they finished cooking the food and appetizers. Yamaguchi was finishing up blowing up balloons, while Yumie sat at a table with Hoshi, Mayumi, Koushi, and Daichi was chatting with them. Kita had just finished getting dressed in a fancier outfit and stepped out of the back room, smiling as he looked around at everyone getting along and how nice everyone looked. He loved seeing how well his grandmother got along with Saya's family, excited for the future they would all have together.

Kita went to the window of the shop and looked out of it, fiddling with the ring box in his pocket. Yamaguchi noticed him as he was taking pictures of the guests and decorations and stepped beside him, "Is everything alright, Kita?" He asked as Kita looked at him and nodded.

"Just a bit nervous," Kita said, "there's always a chance she will say no..."

Yamaguchi laughed and patted his shoulder, "Kita, Saya is infatuated with you. There is no doubt she will say yes," he said with a smile, asking to see the ring. Kita pulled the box out of his pocket and handed it to Yamaguchi, who took it and opened it, his eyes widening while he looked at it.

"Wow Kita, you went all out," Yamaguchi said as he marveled at the ring, "She is going to love this, it is so her."

Kita smiled softly as he looked at the ring along with him, "Only the best for Saya," Kita replied. Yamaguchi nodded and handed the ring back to him as Daichi approached them.
