Chapter 3 The exam

Again Phantom Rouge movie spoilers!
1. As they walked through the city beside their animals they rode to get there, they looked for what they needed to buy.
2. After they purchased the needed materials and having some fun, Kurapika packed everything up and prepared for them to leave.
3. But just as he was finished he heard the sound of glass shattering. He turned around in shock. To his horror Pairo was on the floor next to a broken wine bottle.
4. This wine bottle also happened to stain a man's shirt. Pairo couldn't see where he was going and thus did not mean to stain the man's shirt.
5. There were two other men with him mocking Pairo. The man took advantage of Pairo's bad sight and made him drop the wine on him.
6. This is also obviously what it seemed like to little Kurapika, but he is kind and would never want assume someone's intentions.
7. But sadly his earlier assumptions came to pass.
8. The man looked at Pairo angrily demanding he pay for the shirt he ruined.
9. Kurapika did not want to have to pay him. He was aware that they took advantage of Pairo's bad eyesight now and went to Pairo.
10. Again they demanded money. This angered Kurapika but Pairo did his best to calm Kurapika down.
11. Pairo pleaded and brought out all the money he had been saving little by little.
12. The man mocked the amount and dropped the glass jar on the floor. He laughed as he watched Kurapika's sad and angry face.
13. Kurapika got up and swore at them. Pairo told him not to be upset and just apologize. Kurapika agreed and they both knelt down and apologized next to the broken glass and hard earned money.
14. The men didn't look like they would forgive them. That's when people around them shouted to let them go. They were just kids after all.
15. Kurapika grabbed a drawstring bag and helped Pairo collect all the money. Pairo go the last bit and poured most of it in, but some fell to the side. Kurapika picked up everything he dropped and they were done.
16. When the men saw this they laughed. "Must suck to be you" He started, "You've gotta take care of that piece of junk, after all!" He snickered with a smug look on his face thinking he did something.
17. This angered Kurapika to the point of his eyes turning scarlet. He was livid to the point he got up and beat them up.
18. The men were frightened by the wrath of God. Lord Kurapika punishes those who are not kind and discriminate others.
19. But from this the people around him were also frightened. They wrongly called him a spawn of the devil. They judged based on his scarlet eyes and discriminated him for something beyond his control.
20. This saddened little Kurapika very much. He took Pairo and they quietly left knowing he would not pass the exam.
21. But Pairo was prepared. Pairo took out a mirror and gave it to Kurapika. His eyes were back to normal. He was surprised.
22. Pairo proceeded to tell him that when he dropped the eye drops he actually switched them out.
23. Kurapika would pass the exam after all.
