When the first snowflake of winter
Falls on my trembling hand
I think of you and the Christmas
When we played together in the cold sandWe were just kids
Together since forever
I still remember the day
You left even though you said I'll neverIt's been a few years
Although you still visit my dreams
This eve of Christmas
I'm waiting for you near the seaI'm still not used to
The disappointment each December
Now imagine my surprise
When I see you, in all your glory and candourYou reached out your hand
In what felt like a thousand years
Will your heartfelt apologies
Compensate for all my tears?I decide to take a leap
Accept all your reasons
Give you a chance
To make up for my longing and emotionsEmbracing this adventure
My heart open and unfurled
We embark upon this journey of love
You and me, against the worldA sincere hope every December
Instead of sitting alone near blocks of cinder
The warmth of your hugs
Will last me until all the next winters♡︎♡︎♡︎
