*This is what I wrote for my teacher who is retiring this year. * ♡︎

Although I have never experienced
Your impeccable teaching in person
Truly an understatement it is
To call you the best mentor with assertion

A subject that I possibly dreaded
With creativity made exciting
Only a true teacher like you
Can make simple Geography warm and inviting

The same detail and precision
For sixty students or a single one
The professionalism and respect you portray
Is the epitome of abundant inspiration

You painted our minds with seas and mountains
The enormous of amount of knowledge you hold
Introduction to economics, a subject unknown
You sculpted us a wonder for the world to behold

Shaping our minds and doting on us a many
Showing us the difference between right and wrong
You fulfilled every duty and so much more
The standard for a teacher set for lifelong

Every time I see a geography textbook
A hint of nostalgia and a lot of love
The precious memories of your teaching
Forever etched in the stars above

An unprecedented situation for all
And you took it in your stride
Never did we feel something was missing
Rather gained a new experience alongside

Words cannot express the gratitude
I feel for your presence in our lives
Retirement is just the beginning
With the eternal lessons you left behind
