The Elioud are the children of nephilim....
The nephilim were the offspring of fallen angels and humans. They are described as giants, whose appetites were as large as their stature. Almost always inclined towards evil, their demonic natures meant they would do anything and everything to have those appetites satisfied.
Their children were not as large as they were and often, less evil. The Tweldorian elioud continue to struggle with their demonic roots, but they are determined to walk in the light.

There are three elioud on the Council of Tweldor: Eliam (Liam to his friends), a shifter, Morgan, a reformed incubus, and Tallulah a recovering succubus.
In book two, The Daughters Return, we meet Liam's sister Mentha, (Minty). She can communicate with plants, and has naturally green hair.

And Ezekiel (Zeke), the citadel's Quatermaster, who comes up with some ingenious inventions to help the warriors battle the demonic enemy.

The elioud look human but due to their angelic bloodlines, they tend to be ridiculously attractive.
