What began as any other hunt had turned very bad, very quickly. I should have listened to Denver when she insisted on a partnership for this specific case but my overzealous and stubborn as a horse's ass persona steered me wrong once again. How was I gonna get out of this alive? The pack I'd been trailing had in fact been trailing me and led me here, they knew I would follow and like a stupid amateur I took the bait. But like Denver always says, I must have some sort of death wish. Denver Callum was a female hunter, she is thirty years old with blonde hair and grey eyes. She is about my height, five foot six inches tall, with a mean right hook and a genius with a cross bow, saved my ass a few times. I had been following this guy around town for a few nights now, I knew he was the wolf that I had been searching for the last few weeks but I had to stalk him awhile until he led me here, back to their den. They were taking up residence just outside of town at an abandoned farm and as far as I could tell there were about eight of them but possibly more. I followed him back here and I hid out in a barn watching from a busted up window when I was grabbed from behind and taken inside. Fighting didn't do me any good because unlike the vamps that I had gotten used to killing, werewolves are much stronger, especially on a full moon night. It's like they are pure beast on those nights, growing almost a foot in height and width, teeth and claws are long and razor sharp. They aren't as common as vamps, thankfully, because to be honest it is extremely difficult to take one down, let alone an entire pack yet here I am. I didn't intend on interceding tonight, I thought to get some intel and judge the situation accordingly and if I needed the help, I would call in some extra hands but like I said they knew that I was coming. They aren't as common because it isn't an easy task to "change" someone, most victims don't survive the change.
