y/ns pov

as we arrived at the school, I hopped out of the car before it even stopped.

"where are you going?!" Jackson called after me as I ran.

"school, where else? I don't want to be late for biology now do I?!" I said while running backwards to face him before turning back around again.

I was just getting my textbooks out of my locker when Jackson came up to me.

"took you long enough. if we miss any of biology I'm gonna flip." I said, chuckling.

"you are so weird." he said jokingly while smiling.

"right, you are!" I said laughing.

we stood there in silence until I finally spoke up.

"well come on, then! lets not wait for the grass to grow!" I said, waving my hand in his face as I grabbed his textbooks for him and shoved them at him, smiling.

"ehh, I don't really feel like it." he said with a smirk.

"oh, you don't really feel like it? well, then lets just call off school just because Jackson doesn't 'feel like it.' come on, pasta boy, lets go get an education." I said, while I dragged him down the hall and he snickered.

"what class do we have, anyways?" Jackson asked me as we walked down the halls.

"Biology! my- I started but was cut off by Jackson.

"your favourite. I know. you've only told me, what? six billion times?" Jackson said laughing.

"yeah, yeah. anyways, its almost summer. I don't have any plans, what about you?" I asked.

"oh, y'know... hang out with you." he said smiling.

"well, looks like I have plans after all." I said as we both chuckled and entered our biology classroom.

some boys were throwing crumpled up paper balls at each other while some girls were giggling and gossiping very loudly.

our teacher, Mrs. Webkins was paying the noise no mind, despite the excited bird noises coming from the girls, because her face was buried deep into a romance novel.

me and Jackson took our seats at the back of the class, as per usual, and the bell rang, signaling the start of class.

everyone quieted down and took their seats while Mrs. Webkins coughed awkwardly and closed her book, her big smile and perky attitude jumping up.

"Good morning class!!!" she exclaimed loudly.

I heard Jackson groan beside me and I mentally chuckled.

what a boy.
