Y/n's pov

I woke up the next morning to the sound of my ringtone going off.

I sat up groggily and looked around, my eyes eventually landing on my phone.

"Sir Jackson🥸🥲❤️ is calling." The screen read.

I picked it up and answered the call.

"Hello." I said.

"HEY, Y/N! Good MORNING, hELLo! BONjOur! Buon giorno! WAKE UP." He yelled into the phone.

I winced and held the phone away from my ear.

"Hi...could you maybe, uh, I don't know, not blow my eardrums out every time you call me?" I asked.

"Nope, sorry. No can do." He replied, and I could practically hear him shrugging his shoulders through the phone.

"Anyways, why did you call me at...hold on what time is it...6:00 IN THE MORNING!! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!??" I asked.

"Because. It's the first day of summer. You don't want to waste it sleeping in all day when you could be out having fun with me instead." He explained.

"Cant you just let me sleep for at least half an hour?" I whined, snuggling back into my blankets.

"No. Get up. Now." He said.

"Fine." I groaned, sitting up fully and pulling the comforter off of me, knowing well that if I didn't get up, Jackson would never leave me alone.

"Where are we going? Do I need to look nice?" I asked, rummaging around my room.

"You always look nice." Jackson argued.

"Thank you, but that's not what I meant." I blushed.

"Okay, well maybe just wear something nice-er." He said, slightly confused.

"Okay." I said, yanking opened my closet.

"I gotta go, but text me when you're ready, yeah?" I said.

"Yeah, bye!" He said.

"Bye, dork." I replied, ending the call.

In the end I decided on:
(One of these or make up your own.)

I walked downstairs after getting ready to be greeted by my mom who was sitting at the island in the kitchen.

"Well, don't you look beautiful and extravagant." She said.

"Is it too much?" I asked, looking down at myself.

"No, it just depends on where you're going." She said with a smirk.

"Jackson wouldn't tell me. He just said to wear something nice." I said.

"Oh, so you're going somewhere with jackson." My mom said with a big smile.

"Yes." I deadpanned, making myself some breakfast.

"You know it's 6:30 in the morning, right sweetie?" My mom asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I know it's unusual for me, but Jackson woke me up by calling me and there was no hope of me falling back asleep." I explained, eating breakfast.

"Ah, I see." She replied, sipping on her coffee.

"Well, have fun! Text me later!" She called as i walked to the front door.

"I will!" I called back.

I slid on my shoes and walked outside where Jackson was sitting in his parked car, looking at our neighbour's house.

He looked over at me and his eyes went wide.

I almost laughed at his face as I got into the car.

"You got a staring problem?" I chuckled.

"I-but- no. Not at all." He stuttered, a light pink dusting his cheeks.

We pulled away from the house and began down the road.

"You look beautiful, by the way." Jackson said, not taking his eyes off the road.

"Thank you." I answered, butterflies fluttering in my stomach.

"Where are we going, anyways?" I asked.

"Oh, uh, I just have to go quickly pick up my basketball stuff that I left at the school." He replied casually.

"You play basketball?" I asked.

"Yes. Yes I do." He said.

"I didn't know that." I said, leaning back in my seat.

"Well, now you do." He chuckled.
