Y/n's pov
We got back into his car, Jackson tossing the duffel bag in the back seat.
"So.... Where to now?" I asked as we started to drive down the road.
"A surprise is a surprise!" He replied in a sing-song voice.
I groaned. "But I don't like surprises!"
"That's too bad." He smiled.
"Just tell me already!" I pleaded.
"Mmmm, it's gonna be a hard pass on that one." Jackson said.
"Fine." I huffed.

"What's your favourite colour?" Jackson asked.
"Probably....(favourite colour) what's yours?" I asked.
"Blue. But not like a starburst blue or a sky blue, or even Azure blue...more-more like a deep blue. The kind of blue that you look at and it makes you feel things. You know what I mean?" Jackson said.
"Woah, didn't know tweedle dum could be so deep and sentimental." I snickered.
Jackson chuckled.
"Well, if I'm tweedle dum, then you're tweedle dee." He commented.
"That's fine. Tweedle dee is the cooler one anyways." I shrugged.
"What? Since when? Why do you get to be the cooler one?" Jackson pouted.
"Because I am the cooler one." I stated.
"No way! You're crazy!" He said.
"Am not. I mean, come on. Who used to live in California?" I asked.
"Who stole the principles favourite trophy and got away with it?" Jackson fired, a challenging smile on his face while keeping his eyes on the road.
"Who punched Olivia Halls in the face?" I smirked.
"That's true. Fair enough, Fair enough....okay, you can be tweedle dee." Jackson surrendered.
"You made the right choice." I patted his arm with a triumphant smile.
We had been driving for a while, I realized, and we came to a stop at the bottom of a hill.
(Just imagine weather top from stranger things and if you don't know what that is, it's just a really nice hill overlooking the town.)
"This is it?" I asked.
"Well, almost. Hope you like walking." He chuckled.
"Up the hill? Wait, can't we just drive up?" I asked as he got something from the trunk of his car.
"The car won't go uphill that far." He replied.
(Smarter than Steve)"Oh. Hey, what are you doing over there?" I asked, jogging over to the back of the car.
"Do you mind carrying this backpack?" He asked, handing me a green bag.
I slung the straps onto my shoulders as he got four grocery bags out of the car.
With two in each hand and his car keys dangling from his teeth, he reached his foot up and shut the trunk.
I reached up and took the keys out of where they were clenched in between his teeth.
"Let's go." He said with a big smile, starting to run up the hill.
"What?! How can you even run that fast in this heat, up a hill, with four full grocery bags?!" I called as I followed.
"I don't know! I've never done this before!" He called back.
I shook my head with a giggle, racing up the hillside to join him.
