With his bucket in hand, George stood waist deep in the ocean, readying the metal above his head.
His breath slowed down as it became calm and concise.
He stood still, waiting for any movement around him.A small shiny fish glided along his legs and George quickly snapped the bucket down and caught it.
One down. Like 5 more to go.

The brunette stared into the water from the unsteady wooden bridge he'd built what seems like forever ago.
The fish swam smoothly around their new home.
Some danced happily, greeting their new friends and touching noses, before quickly moving to the other end of the water, only to do it all again.
George smiled.
The fish reminded him of Dream, and how no matter how much they run from each other, somehow, they meet again, even if it's just for a moment. They were always just drawn to one another.
It seemed like something out of a movie, and George felt like the main character. He sat down and dangled his legs into the clear blueness, his arms resting over the Woden column that followed just below the railing, horizontally. He was mesmerised by by their movement. So delicate and peaceful.
He looked up at the dimming sky, as bright red and yellow littered the horizon.
It wasn't a very pretty sight considering the fact that George was colourblind, but he could appreciate the beauty that it probably was.The sunset had always brought him peace. It was reassurance. Reassurance that today will end and there will be a tomorrow. It was cheesy, and George knew that, but he couldn't help being sentimental.
He loved the sunset.
After a moment of admiring the sky and it's water-coloured beauty, George stood up.
He took a second to balance himself before rolling his jeans back down to his now wet ankles and pruny feet that dangled in the water for so long.He sighed.
It was time to visit Dream.

George walked to the prison.
And by walk, I mean he dragged his feet along the uneven wooden path for what seemed like the millionth time that week, as he prepared for more disappointing news about the security breach that hadn't been dealt with yet.He was getting quite sick of being turned away.
His heart yearned for the blonde man.
He'd seen him once in nearly a decade and was desperate to touch him again.
Feel his warm rough hands glide over his back.
His girthy member thrashing inside of him.And as he dragged his hopeless legs down the path, the prison entering his vision, he readied himself for rejection.
For Sam to growl at him to get out of here and come back later.
And so he would. Again and again.
He'd come back later.
But Sams "later" never seemed to come.Crying.
George heard crying in the distance.
He looked around to find tubbo and Ranboo sobbing uncontrollably in each other arms.
The tears streamed down tubbos cheeks, leaving a small dark wet patch on the others suit. Their hair was messy. Big eye bags hung low on both of their faces.
They looked broken.
Tubbo stared up to the sky, his eyes glassy, his face puffy and red. He wailed in terror then returned to Ranboos shoulder as he rubbed the young boys back in comfort. Their shoulders bounced with each uncontrollable sob.
It was clear that the half ender man was trying to stay strong for his friend, but it was also clear that he was broken too.
Georges heart melted at the sight.
He made his way over to the two boy cautiously, with sympathy in his eyes. Ranboo took notice of the brunette. And that seemed to have been enough to break him.
Tears flooded out of his eyes like a waterfall and his voice shook painfully.George knelt down and pulled them both into a hug.
They accepted it gratefully, and clinged onto his hoodie like their life depended on it as the boys cried into his shoulder."T-to-TOMMY" tubbo cried out in agony as he struggled to get the words out in between his breathless sobs.
A pit formed in Georges stomach as panic set in.
He was stuck. Frozen in place by the coldness of the icy cries he'd just heard.
The sun got too bright. It blinded him.
The comfortable temperature turned to unbearable heat.
And George sat still, staring forward into nothing.
He was numb. He felt stupid. Like he should have seen this coming.Dream was a problem.
George was right from the start. He never should have visited him.
Of course he hadn't changed!
It's Dream! He's wanted Tommy dead since the start of the servers existence.
Georges heart crumbled.
Tommy.
He couldn't cry. No tears would come.
Manipulated.
That night.
Manipulated.
Did he even confront Dream?
Manipulated.
Or did Dream just rail him to get him to shut his mouth?
Manipulated.
He was manipulated.
And suddenly, all the love and infatuation towards that green god turned to pure hatred and rage.
And George decided that he was done overlooking all the pain his lover had caused.
He was done being so very infatuated by him that he couldn't even stand up right.
He was done watching the people he loved fall apart.
He was just done.
Over it.
Over Dream. But could he ever truly be over Dream?
It was time to end all the pain in the nation. And that could only be done by getting rid of the root of the problem. Because it seemed like no matter what you did to keep him away, Dream came back, like an obnoxious weed in a garden. A garden that could thrive without the weed, but instead, they are left alone and broken, dying a little more each day. The colours of their petals dimming as they droop to the cold soil and turn brown.
Because of the weed.
Because of Dream.
It was time for George to get revenge.
