Chapter 14

(Kyler's POV)
I was getting really worried when Emma didn't show up. She said that she was coming right over, and she lives down the street. It had been 15 minutes, I knew something was wrong, she would've called me, or something.

I needed to find her. I ran out the door in the pouring rain, I started sprinting for the street. It took my like 30 seconds to make it to the end of the driveway. I looked toward her house and I started to run again. My head was pounding, I could barely caught my breath, but I need to find Emma, she is my best friend, and something happened.

I started crying when I saw her penny board, where was she? "EMMA!!?" I screamed. I heard a soft grown from the bushes. I ran toward the noise. She was laying on the ground. There was a huge scratch on her head and her ankle looked swollen.

"What happened?!" I half screamed because it was still raining. "I was coming over to your house on my penny board, and then it started to rain, and then everything went black." She said. "Oh my god, are you okay?" I cried. "Yea, but my head hurts." I helped her up, but she started to fall again. "Ouch." She groaned. "My ankle." She started to cry. "Your okay, or at least you will be." I said. "Thanks Kyler." She said.

I put sat her on her penny board and pushed her through the rain. That dd t work out very well. "Here Em, get on my back." I said she hopped on my back, because it was easier that way.

When we got to my house I got two bags of ice out of the freezer, one for her head, and one for her ankle. I also got cut cleaner, and a bandage.
"Dude it hurts so much." She said.
"yea I know I've sprained my ankle 4 times and reinsured it twice." I reminded her. That made her laugh. "Shut up." I said laughing.

That's when I heard the rain stop. Thank god. "The rain stopped." She said smiling. "Thank you cripple." I said. " haha, I remember when I always called you that." She laughed.
"Hey now you can actually get out of swimming at school for a real reason." I said. " yaaaaasss! Sucks to suck loser." She said laughing. " stop saying bad stuff about yourself" I said playfully punching her. "Ow...... Just kidding." We just both laughed.

I put on Netflix for the rest of the night, and called for pizza. We watched Gossip Girl. If you wanted to know.it was fun, except when Emma leaked her ice pack all over me, "thanks emma." I said. "Man, Nate Archibald is really hot." We said at the same time. We both laughed, and she called jinx. Man I missed the nights like this.

(Hayes' POV)
Once I got home Nash was playing with skylynn, and my mom was on the phone with a guy named Bart. I couldn't remember his last name.

I decided to go to my room and watch Netflix. I love Netflix. I just watched The Anchorman 2. It was so funny. I was interrupted by nash screaming about something. "Nash shut up!" I yelled. "Hayes we are going to Magcon!" He yelled. Oh my god, I have heard about Magcon before, and I heard chad talking about it, but now we are in it. I am so excited. I have to tell Kyler. Wait, "nash!" I yelled. "What?" He yelled back. "Can Kyler come?" I asked. There was a pause. "Yea Chad said it was good with him." He answered. Yes, I was doing a happy dance. I'll probably have Emma and Josh come too, to make Kyler happy. And me of course, and I've never met Josh. So it should be fun. I have to call Kyler.
