EUPHEMIA AND FLEAMONT Potter returned to the house about an hour later, with cuts and bruises on their face, arms and legs. They looked as if they had been in a fight with a very large and angry cat.
James was sitting beside Sirius, who was still seeing double of everything and couldn't hear out of his right ear. Juliet and Peter were with Remus - Peter was cleaning up the last of the dried up blood on his face, while Juliet was dabbing a wet washcloth on Remus' forehead.
"Is everything okay out there?" James asks, once his parents enter the room.
"They've handled it. All the Muggles are being obilivated, assuming that it wasn't a big enough spectacle to make the news." Fleamont sighs.
Euphemia hadn't even heard James' question. She was already rushing in and out of the room, retrieving medical supplies to help Sirius and Remus. It took both Euphemia and Fleamont several minutes before they realized there were five children in the room, not four.
"What are you doing here?" Fleamont questions, once he notices Juliet.
Juliet looked towards James nervously, before looking back at Fleamont.
"I was trying to help the boys-"
"She was trying to help Sirius, and I couldn't leave her there in the park. She could have been killed." James says, cutting off Juliet.
Euphemia and Fleamont share a glance, before looking back towards Juliet. Her normal tan skin was now pale, she hadn't felt this nervous and overwhelmed since before she had met James.
"James, a word." Fleamont says, before leaving the room. James, without looking towards Juliet, followed his father out the room.
Fleamont brought him to the kitchen. He began pouring glasses of lemonade for everyone, before finally looking towards his son.
"She knows everything, doesn't she?" His father asks, pushing his glasses back up his nose.
"No-"
"You don't have to lie to me, James. Juliet hasn't asked a single question since your mother and I have returned. Any normal Muggle wouldn't be taking this situation so lightly."
James sighs, running a hand through his hair.
"She knows everything."
Fleamont sighs, looking at his son with, what was it, possibly pity? James couldn't tell. He didn't have much time to register anything before he heard several new voices coming from outside the kitchen.
His father tensed for a second, before waving his wand towards the cabinets and pouring more glasses of lemonade.
"We have company." He states, before waving his wand one last time to the tray of lemonade and leaving the room, the tray following him out.
James follows suit, returning to the now much more occupied room where his friends and parents were. He noticed Fabian and Gideon, Alice and Frank, a few other faces he did not recognize, and then two others.
Alastor Moody and Albus Dumbledore.
They were chatting quietly in the corner. Fleamont had offered them lemonade, Moody declined, though Dumbledore happily took one and thanked Fleamont. The two kept glancing towards Juliet, who looked as if she was about to pass out.
James hurried over towards her, taking a seat beside her on the couch.
"Do you want to go home? I can take you home." James offers, his voice calm and soothing.
"I cannot go home yet." Juliet says, her voice slightly trembling.
James grabs a hold of her hand, interlacing their fingers together. Her hands were shaking, he looked at her with concern.
"Why not?"
Juliet glanced over towards Moody and Dumbledore, who were already looking at James and Juliet.
"Professor Dumbledore said I must wait until they... decide what to do with me."
oh no what ever will happen :0
